“Repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.”
— Matthew 22:21

As choir members, may we remember that our voices and talents are gifts from God, meant to be shared in His service. Every song we sing is more than music; it is a prayer and an offering of love to Him.

May we continue to sing not for recognition, but to glorify God and bring others closer to His presence. ❤️🎵

29th Sunday in Ordinary Time | 5pm Mass Service at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Chapel, North Olympus Subd. Brgy Kaligayahan, Quezon City

In honor of the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of La Naval de Manila, Himig ni Kolbe offers this musical tribute to our Blessed Mother, expressing our love, devotion, and faith through the timeless prayer of the Hail Mary.

May this humble offering remind us of the power of prayer and the importance of seeking Mama Mary's intercession as we continue our journey of faith. May she always lead us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ, and inspire us to live with humility, hope, and love. 🙏💙

Himig ni Kolbe | Our Lady of La Naval de Manila

In this Month of the Holy Rosary, Himig ni Kolbe was blessed to offer a song in honor of Our Lady of La Naval de Manila. Through our simple offering, we express our love and devotion to our Blessed Mother, who continually leads us closer to her Son, Jesus.

May this special month remind us to pray the Rosary with faith, trust in Mary's intercession, and carry her love in our hearts every day.

“To Jesus through Mary.”

Viva La Virgen! Viva La Naval!

As the SFXP Sacred Music Ministry prepares for their Choral Festival, “Dona Nobis Pacem,” their choirs are busy with preparations for the big event.

Since one of their Mass schedules at Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces would conflict with the festival, Himig ni Kolbe was blessed with the opportunity to lend a hand and serve in their place.

A big thank you to Ate Annie Rose N. Angeles-Merencilla for giving us the opportunity to sing, for providing assistance to us throughout the Mass, and for warmly accommodating us so we could also stay and watch your Choral Festival right after the service.

More than just singing together, moments like this remind us that friendship between music ministries has no boundaries. Different choirs, different ministries, but one purpose—to serve God through music.

Thank you for the trust, friendship, and fellowship, SFXP Sacred Music Ministry! It was truly a blessing to be part of your day.

Congratulations on “Dona Nobis Pacem”! May your music continue to inspire, unite, and bring peace. 🕊️❤️

In moments of pain, uncertainty, and healing, faith reminds us that we do not walk alone. This song speaks of surrendering our lives to God and finding strength, purpose, and hope in Him.

During the Paghilom ng Sugat Chorale Festival, this beautiful song became our prayer through music—a reminder that whatever wounds we carry, we can continue to trust in God, knowing that our lives are ultimately in His hands.

O Lux Beata Trinitas sets the ancient Latin hymn attributed to St. Ambrose, a prayer praising the Blessed Trinity as the source of divine light and unity. Makor’s setting was written in 2013 for unaccompanied mixed choir, allowing the voices themselves to create an atmosphere of reverence and prayer.

The words speak of the light of the Holy Trinity, asking God to let that light shine within our hearts. It is a beautiful reminder that our singing is not simply about music—it can also be a form of prayer, reflection, and offering.

In the midst of wounds, struggles, and moments when we feel weary, sometimes what we need most is a reminder that we are not alone.

During the recent "Paghilom ng Sugat" Chorale Festival, "Wag Ka Nang Umiyak" became more than just a song for us. It became a reflection of faith—a reminder to trust, to hold on, and to believe that healing is possible even when the journey is difficult.
