Guhit Kulay () is a Filipino migrant artist collective named after the Tagalog words for “line” (guhit) and “color” (kulay). Sixteen of their members are sharing existing multimedia works. One of them is Cecil Eduarte’s Blanket of Hope.

“This floral crochet blanket is my first ever made and I made it during my extra time between work and especially during night time before going to bed for three months. Doing this was a comfort of hope and strength for me to divert my anxiousness in life into a positive vibe.”

Experience all of their works at

Our Virtual Santacruzan is featured in Lost Frames' Di/Visible Re/Public, a video programme of twelve works by Filipino artists, filmmakers, and new media practitioners 🌸

The programme runs from 1 September – 31 December 2022 at the Mediatheque, West Kowloon Cultural District, 38 Museum Drive, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Admission is free!

For audiences outside of Hong Kong, the programme is available at: https://watch.eventive.org/di-visible-re-public

About the programme: Di/Visible Re/Public is a video programme of twelve works by artists, filmmakers, and new media practitioners from the Philippines. Comprising artist performances, community videos, creative documentaries, archival films, and code-generated art, the latest Lost Frames selection is an attempt to redirect attention from the spectacle of conventional film and video practices to the critical approaches and alternative viewing practices that thrive on the margins. The programme considers the various ways that divisive issues can be rendered visually. Di/Visible Re/Public offers a lens through which to observe the current state of the Philippines in relation to its political history and divergent nature. In grappling with contemporary conditions, the featured works explore, inevitably, notions of private versus public and the self versus the state.
