On this Fourth Sunday of Lent, we gathered in prayer and celebration for Holy Mass, lifting our voices in heartfelt praise and worship. We sang of light piercing through darkness, of liberation and renewed sight – timeless themes that lie at the heart of this sacred season, calling us to turn our hearts toward God and to embrace the transformative grace He offers us all.

May the blessings of this Lenten journey strengthen our faith, fill our lives with hope, and inspire us to reflect the light of Christ in our words and actions each day. Thank you to every member of our parish community who joined us in worship, and to all who keep our faith family in prayer.

As our voices rise and fill this sacred space, you can feel how every single note holds the deep, heartfelt meaning of this holy Lenten season. For weeks now, we’ve been huddled in rehearsal halls and gathering quietly in our sanctuaries — and it’s never just been about getting the harmonies right. We’ve let Lent seep into every breath we take, every word we shape with our lips.

Some songs have brought tears as we sing of penitence; others lift our spirits with pure hope. Together, we’re trying to share what these 40 days are really about — taking time to reflect, choosing to fast not just from food but from selfishness, and opening our hearts to show more compassion to everyone around us. When our voices blend into one chord, it’s like we’re all turning our hearts toward grace together. And those harmonies? They’re our reminder that we don’t walk this path alone — we’re a family, tied tight by faith.

We sing of sacrifice that means something, of second chances and forgiveness, of starting fresh when we stumble. Every time we lift our voices up, we’re honoring the journey that leads us step by step toward Easter’s light.

Wishing the happiest of birthdays to our incredible boy soprano, Earl Gerald! Your voice is pure magic – those crystal-clear high notes cut through any arrangement and fill our performances with warmth and wonder. Whether we’re singing classical pieces or modern tunes, your talent never fails to amaze us all.

Here’s to another year of hitting those perfect high notes both on stage and in life! May you continue to grow as a musician and bring joy to everyone who hears you sing. We’re so proud to have you in our choir – let’s raise a glass to you, Earl!

Wishing a fantastic Happy Birthday to Joseph, our go-to bass in the choir! There's no denying that your deep, powerful voice is the backbone of our harmonies – when you hit those low notes, you send shivers down our spines every single time. Your dedication to practice and your easygoing spirit make rehearsals so much better.

Here’s hoping this new year brings you endless joy, new opportunities to share your gift of music, and all the happiness you deserve! We couldn’t ask for a more reliable or talented member in our bass section. Here’s to singing many more beautiful songs together – cheers, Joseph!

On the 2nd Sunday of Lent, as we gathered in faith to mark another step along this sacred journey of reflection and transformation, our choir stood together with hearts full and voices raised. We sang of hope that endures through trials, of mercy that knows no bounds, and of the call to turn toward love and renewal. Each note we shared was a prayer, each harmony a reminder that we do not walk this path alone – united in song, in spirit, and in our commitment to growing closer to what matters most. In this season of quiet contemplation and purposeful change, may the melodies we offered bring comfort to those who seek it, light to those who need it, and strengthen the bonds of our faith community.

This Sunday, February 22, marks the beginning of our journey through Holy Week. As the CSC Choir prepares our music for this sacred time, you’ll notice the shift to purple—the liturgical color of the season.

In our tradition, purple isn't just a color; it’s a call to action. It symbolizes penance, preparation, and royalty. It serves as a visual reminder to quiet our hearts, reflect on our spiritual walk, and honor Christ as King through sacrifice and prayer.

As we lift our voices today, we invite you to join us in this season of grace and renewal.

Holy Child Jesus, on your feast day we came before you with voices that practiced for weeks – mixing up harmonies, holding each other up through every note. Every “Viva Pit Señor!” we sang was a promise kept, every hymn we lifted up a gift from our hearts to yours. We sang for every child who looks to you for courage, every parent who holds you close, every soul you’ve touched with your gentle love.

You who know what it means to be young and full of purpose – hear us now. Our notes may not always be perfect, but every sound we made was born from faith. From the oldest in our choir who’ve sung for your feast for decades, to the littlest ones who just joined us – we serve you with everything we have. Viva Santo Niño! May our songs live in your heart, just as your love lives in ours.

✨Happy Birthday, Trisha Peralta!✨

We wish you have a life that is full of love, care, and happiness that you guys deserve. You guys make our day so much brighter with your jokes, smile, and amazing voices. We are all grateful to have you as our choir mate and our friend. We hope this year ahead will be filled with everything that makes you guys put a smile on your face — you deserve it !!

1 Corinthians 1:4-8: "I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ. He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Today, as we draw the radiant season of Christmas to its sacred close, we gather not just as a choir, but as living threads woven into the beautiful tapestry of faith — celebrating the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord, the day that marks both the end of our Christmas joy and the glorious dawn of Christ’s earthly mission.

Grateful for every voice, every breath, every soul that makes our choir family whole — may the peace and purpose we’ve found in song guide us through the days ahead. 🎵✨
