CHA EUN WOO EYES NEW K-DRAMA COMEBACK AFTER MILITARY SERVICE

ASTRO star and actor Cha Eun Woo could have his next big acting project lined up after completing his mandatory military service.

Eun Woo is reportedly considering the lead role in “Seorabeol Knife”, a new cooking-themed romance drama connected to the hit Korean series “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty”.

But this is not a direct Season Two. The new series will feature a different storyline and new characters, while sharing the same creative universe. Reports say it will be directed by Jang Tae-yoo, who also directed “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty”.

The original drama starred Lim Yoon-a and Lee Chae-min and became a major hit in 2025, combining time travel, romance, palace intrigue, and cooking. 

For the new project, Cha Eun Woo is reportedly being considered for the male lead. His agency, Fantagio, has confirmed that he received an offer and is currently reviewing it.

Eun Woo enlisted in 2025 and is expected to complete his military service in early 2027.

So, if he accepts, fans may soon see Cha Eun Woo’s highly anticipated post-military acting comeback, this time, with a little romance and a whole lot of food!

ANTHONY EDWARDS EMBRACES FILIPINO BASKETBALL CULTURE IN MANILA

NBA superstar Anthony Edwards is back in the Philippines and this time, the Minnesota Timberwolves star is not just meeting Filipino fans, but also paying tribute to the country’s rich basketball culture.

During his Manila visit, Edwards met ten PBA legends. Adding a distinctly Filipino touch to the moment, Edwards wore a customized piña barong, designed by Filipino designer RJ Santos of Randolf, featuring basketball-inspired artwork and his number five on the back.

Edwards’ connection to the Philippines also goes beyond this visit. His AE 2 “Magpakitang Gilas” signature shoe was designed by Filipino designer Melvin Rodas. And during his Manila trip, Edwards also gave fans a look at his newest signature sneaker, the adidas AE 3.

From PBA legends to Filipino-designed sneakers, Anthony Edwards is showing that his connection with the Philippines goes far beyond basketball.

And as he told Filipino fans himself “Mahal ko kayo!”

ANOTHER FILIPINO OLYMPIC HOPE IS RISING

Filipino swimming star Kayla Sanchez is making waves once again!

Sanchez has just set a NEW PHILIPPINE RECORD in the women’s 100-meter freestyle, clocking an impressive 53.67 seconds.

But who exactly is Kayla Sanchez?

Before representing the Philippines, Sanchez competed for Canada at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where she won TWO Olympic medals: a SILVER in the women’s 4-by-100-meter freestyle relay and a BRONZE in the 4-by-100-meter medley relay.

Now proudly representing the Philippines, Sanchez has continued to make her mark.

At Paris 2024, she broke the Philippine record in the 100-meter freestyle and reached the semifinals.

And now, she has reset that national record once again!

With the qualification period for Los Angeles 2028 still ahead, this latest performance could be another important step in Sanchez’s Olympic journey.
