The Palawan State University Band would like to inform all interested applicants that the Vocal and Rondalla Auditions have been rescheduled to next week.

๐Ÿ“ Venue: PSU Band Room, beside the Sining Hall

To all applicants who have already registered, your registration remains valid and there is no need to submit the form again.

For those who have yet to register, you may still sign up and prepare your best audition piece for the upcoming audition.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the change in schedule and appreciate everyone's understanding.

Use the additional time to prepare, practice, and get ready to showcase your talent.

The Palawan State University Live Band is opening its doors once again for Vocal Auditions!

If you have a passion for singing and want to be part of the PSU Band, this is your opportunity to showcase your voice, musicality, and stage presence.

AUDITION REMINDER

Prepare your best audition pieceโ€”choose a song that allows you to showcase your vocal ability, musicality, and performance style.

Applicants are encouraged to:

- Prepare one (1) song of your choice.
- Choose a piece that best represents your vocal strengths.
- Be prepared to perform in front of the audition panel.
- Arrive before the scheduled audition time for registration and preparation.

This audition is an opportunity to become part of a group of musicians who perform and represent Palawan State University in various university activities and events.

CONGRATULATIONS, YAHEL BAND!

The Palawan State University Band proudly congratulates our very own Yahel Band for their outstanding performance at the ๐Š๐š๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ง ๐’๐จ๐ฅ๐จ ๐’๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ & ๐†๐š๐›๐ข ๐˜' ๐š๐ง๐  ๐‚๐š๐ง๐œ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ง โ€“ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐š๐ง๐๐ฌ, held on August 7, 2026.

We extend our congratulations to our vocalist, Chatlyn Joy Factor, for placing 3rd in the Karantan Solo Singing Contest. Her performance reflects her dedication and skill as a vocalist.

We also congratulate the entire Yahel Band for securing 1st Place in the Gabi Y' ang Cancionan โ€“ Battle of the Bands. This achievement reflects the band's musicianship, preparation, and teamwork.

We also would like to thank Sining Palawan for helping the band with the costumes.

The PSU Band community is proud to see our musicians continue to represent the University through their talent and dedication.

Congratulations to Chatlyn Joy Factor and Yahel Band on this well-deserved achievement.

Opisyal nang sinimulan ng Palawan State University (PalawanSU) ang pagdiriwang ng ASEAN Month 2026 sa pamamagitan ng isang masiglang kick-off program na may temang "Navigating Our Future, Together."
Nagtipon-tipon ang buong pamayanan ng pamantasan umaga ng Agosto 10, 2026 upang ipagdiwang ang pagkakaisa, kultura, at pakikipagtulungan ng mga bansa sa Timog-Silangang Asya. Nagsimula ang palatuntunan pagkatapos ng nakaugaliang lingguhang pagtataas ng watawat ng Pilipinas na pinangunahan ng Socio-Cultural Affairs Office (SCAO) at ng University Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (UDRRMO). Masigla itong sinundan ng sama-samang pag-awit ng ASEAN Anthem sa pangunguna ng PSU Singers, at ng makukulay na pagtatanghal ng iba't ibang katutubong sayaw mula sa Sining Palawan Dance Troupe, na sinabayan naman ng live na pagtugtog ng musika mula sa PSU School of Talents.
Kasunod nito, pinangunahan ni Dr. Lhynette Zambales, ang Direktor ng Transnational Education and International Affairs Linkages Office (TNEIALO), ang pagkilala sa mga kasaping bansa ng ASEAN sa pamamagitan ng iba't ibang kolehiyo ng unibersidad. Ibinahagi ni Dr. Venzon L. Limpiada, Pangulo ng Pamantasan, ang kanyang mensahe na ang pagdiriwang na ito ay isang mahalagang pagkakataon upang parangalan ang mayayamang kultura at kolektibong pagkakakilanlan ng Timog-Silangang Asya. Binigyang diin ng pangulo na ang PalawanSU ay nagsisilbing sentro ng glocal leadership, isang pamumuno na nagtataguyod ng rehiyonal na kaunlaran sa pamamagitan ng kahusayang akademiko at pakikipagkapwa-tao, habang nananatiling nakatutok sa paglilingkod sa sariling komunidad. Ibinigay naman ni Dr. Frances Muriel L. Tuquero, ang Vice President for Research, Innovation, Development, and Extension (VPRIDE), ang pangwakas na pananalita upang pormal na tapusin ang programa. Matapos ito, nagkaroon ng photo opportunity kasama ang mga opisyal at dumalo upang maipagdiwang ang makasaysayang sandali. Ang buong palatuntunan ay mahusay na pinamahalaan ni G. Ziedwrick A. Dicar bilang Master of Ceremony.
Sa buong buwan ng Agosto, inaasahang maglulunsad ang iba't ibang kolehiyo at cluster ng kani-kanilang mga aktibidad. Kabilang dito ang mga exhibits mula sa College of Architecture and Design (CAD), quiz bee at entrepreneurship fair mula sa College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), painting exhibits, seminar and quiz bee mula sa College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS), at iba pang interaktibo at pangkulturang gawaing nakalaan para sa buong pamayanan ng PalawanSU.

To everyone who auditioned, thank you for sharing your music, your dedication, and your courage with us. Every performance reflected the hard work and passion you have for your craft, and we truly appreciate the effort each of you put into the audition.

Do you have a passion for music? Are you ready to share your talent and perform on stage? The Palawan State University Live Band is officially opening its doors for new members!

Whether you're a vocalist, lead or rhythm guitarist, bassist, drummer, keyboardist, we invite all currently enrolled Palawan State University College students to audition and become part of our growing musical family.

๐Ÿ“… Audition Date: Friday, 24 July, 2026
๐Ÿ•’ Time: 10:00am onwards
๐Ÿ“ Venue: PSU Band Room (Near Gymnasium, beside Sining Palawan Dance Hall)

๐ŸŽต Audition Guidelines:
โ€ข Prepare one (1) cover song of your choice.
โ€ข Bring your own instrument (except those provided by the organizers).
โ€ข Audition slots will be approximately 10 minutes per applicant.
โ€ข Be ready to showcase not only your musical skills but also your passion, creativity, and stage presence.
โ€ข Strictly be on time.
โ€ข Please note that auditions are for individual performers only, not as a band.
