Good Morning Friends !
But, beloved do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is
longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:8-9 NKJV
What if God decided that today was the day Heโs coming back? How many souls would be lost, whether out of rebellion or ignorance?
If eternity started today, would you spend it without someone who matters to you?
As fallen humans, it is our nature to become impatient if our expectations are not immediately fulfilled. But the apparent delay in Christโs return is a gift of mercy, a sign of Godโs patience. In His great love, He waits, granting people the opportunity to repent and be saved, not willing that any should perish.
This โgrace periodโ until Jesus returns gives Christians more time to spread the good news of salvation as well (Isa.30:18; Rom.2:4; 13:11; 1Tim.2:4).
- David Jeremiah Study Bible
How wonderful it is to know we have a patient, loving God! Because He loves us,
He wants to make sure that we who belong to Him have time to share His heart, that those who donโt yet know it will realize they too are His.
Your future is secure; you will be with Jesus in heaven. Are there people you love who have not yet accepted the incredible gift of His grace? Pray for their salvation today.
Father, Your grace is my freedom. In humility, I will accept Your grace and follow you every day of my life. I will enjoy our friendship, learn from Your teachings, extend grace to others, and one day enter Your kingdom. All these things I can do because,
by Your grace, I am Your child and not merely a servant, Amen.
