Fabian’s parents reached out to me in November saying their son is an aspiring miniaturist and wanted to dedicate his final school paper and presentation to my work. We eventually met in January so he could interview me in person, and I was both surprised and delighted to discover that he already knew all my pieces and even watched every interview I had given. His enthusiasm and knowledge were truly moving, and it made our meeting especially memorable. Last week, he graduated with flying colours, proudly presenting a final miniature project of his own.
While creating miniatures has always been a joyful process for me, it feels even more meaningful now to know that my work can inspire future miniaturists to imagine, build, and create their own tiny worlds.
