Some gatherings are remembered for the people they bring together. Others are remembered for the voices they awaken.
From July 27 to 30, 2026, CBSUAโPili Campus became a home where melodies transcended rehearsal rooms, where every note carried purpose, and where harmony became a language shared by one University. As the proud host of the "TIPON-TINIG" 1st Intercampus Choral Workshop 2026, the campus welcomed delegates from the Calabanga and Sipocot campuses for four days of artistic immersion, musical discipline, and meaningful fellowship.
More than a convergence of singers, Tipon-Tinig was a meeting of aspirations. Every vocal exercise refined technique. Every rehearsal strengthened discipline. Every chord echoed the University's enduring belief that music is not merely performedโit is lived, cultivated, and shared. Within every harmony lay a story of dedication; within every silence, a promise that the next generation of artists would continue to raise the standard of choral excellence.
The success of this milestone initiative was made possible through the steadfast support of Dr. Allan B. Del Rosario, Campus Administrator of CBSUAโPili Campus; the Sentro ng Wika, Kultura at Sining (SWKS) under the leadership of Dr. Leopoldo R. Transona Jr.; and the unwavering commitment of Sir Cris Caryl B. Yu, Choirmaster of the CBSUA Chorale, whose vision and dedication transformed this gathering into an inspiring celebration of artistry and education.
As the final cadence faded and the voices returned to their respective campuses, what remained was far greater than applause. It was the resonance of friendships forged, lessons learned, and a renewed commitment to preserving a culture where every voice matters and every harmony becomes part of the University's legacy.
For in the end, when voices gather with purpose, they do more than create musicโthey create history.
