Labor Day in the Philippines, also known as Araw ng mga Manggagawa, is celebrated every May 1. It is a regular non-working holiday meant to recognize the efforts, sacrifices, and contributions of Filipino workers from all fields.

Aside from being a well-earned break and a chance to spend quality time with family, it is also an opportunity to pay tribute to the value of diligence, as workers contribute to nation-building. As the backbone of society, they play a vital role in economic growth and social development.

Labor Day also promotes solidarity and serves as a platform for advocacies such as ending contractualization, raising the minimum wage, and protecting the rights of our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).

Noong Abril 23, 2026, matagumpay na ginanap ang PLP 1st ECE Hard Hatting and Pinning Ceremony, hudyat ng panibagong yugto sa paglalakbay ng ating mga Electrical Engineering students. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธโšก

Mas pinatingkad ang seremonya sa makabagbag-damdaming pagtatanghal ng PLP Himig Chorale na umawit ng Doxology, Philippine National Anthem, at PLP Hymn, na nagbigay inspirasyon at dignidad sa buong okasyon. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

Today, our voices rest in the quietness of the tomb. As the world is on a sacred pause in solemn anticipation, may we reflect on the time that Christ spent in the tomb, that even in the deepest silence, God is at work.
