A THOUSAND TALES, ONE ENCHANTING NIGHT.

What happens when the legendary world of the Arabian Nights takes flight through the language of ballet?

Ballet Philippines opens its 57th Season with 1001 Nights—a theatrical journey filled with fantasy, romance, danger, spectacle, and stories that explore the timeless themes of power, trust, forgiveness, and love.

Under the choreography of Mikhail “Misha” Martynyuk, the production transforms the stage into a world where stories are told not through words, but through movement, music, imagery, and the extraordinary artistry of the dancers.

But beyond the spectacle, what makes 1001 Nights resonate?

Can ancient stories still speak to a modern audience? And how effectively does ballet capture the magic, emotion, and humanity behind these legendary tales?

Follow Spot Reviews takes a closer look.
