She arrived in Hue City for the official sashing ceremony, where she wore a stunning gold-and-blue beaded gown by Louis Pangilinan that quickly drew attention from fans and fellow contestants. Ahtisa Manalo gears up for Miss Universe in Thailand

Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Ma. Ahtisa Manalo is now in full preparation mode as she readies herself for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Thailand.

Ahtisa Manalo landed in Bangkok on November 2, and since November 3 she has been immersed in a whirlwind of pre-pageant activities. Her arrival was met with emotional cheers from Filipino fans and OFWs, who greeted her with a traditional phuang malai (Thai garland) and flags.

She’s also taken part in various pre-pageant photo shoots and media engagements, using each moment to connect with pageant fans and showcase her poise.

Despite some global pageant tensions, Ahtisa remains focused. She has publicly expressed how mentally and physically prepared she is, saying “no stone left unturned” in her preparation. In interviews, she also shared her belief that Thailand is a “lucky country” for the Philippines, pointing to past pageant successes there.

Representing the Philippines with grace and determination, Ahtisa continues to draw strong support from Filipino pageant fans worldwide, many hopeful that she may bring home another Miss Universe crown.

Ahtisa Manalo leads Miss Universe People’s Choice race

Ma. Ahtisa Manalo has emerged as one of the frontrunners in the Miss Universe People’s Choice Awards, garnering strong global support as the competition heats up.

As of 2:00 PM of November 18, Ahtisa has garnered about 1,442,275 votes. She was followed by Miss Bangladesh with 1,404,132, and Miss Chile with 645,044.

Her elegance, charm, and consistent performance have placed her among the most talked-about candidates online.

Filipinos are encouraged to continue supporting Ahtisa by voting for her in several categories, including Most Beautiful People, Beyond The Crown, Most Photogenic, People’s Choice, Best Skin, Best Evening Gown, and Best National Costume.

Nicole Borromeo drops debut single 'Cherry'

Nicole Yance Borromeo, the celebrated beauty queen from Cebu, has officially debuted as a recording artist, releasing her first single titled "Cherry" on major streaming platforms.

The former Miss International 2023 3rd Runner-Up shared the exciting news with fans during an Instagram Live session on November 6th. "I felt I'm still dreaming," the beauty queen said, expressing her disbelief and excitement over the release of her first track.

Nicole was the winner of Reyna ng Aliwan 2019 and securing the title of Binibining Pilipinas International 2022. She subsequently represented the Philippines at the Miss International 2023 pageant in Tokyo, Japan, where she finished as 3rd Runner-Up.

Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Ma. Ahtisa Manalo exudes elegance in a stunning pink gown during her official send-off event.

“This send-off, this is just the beginning of our competition. Mayroon pa tayong ilalaban na fifth crown, so I really hope that you still support me all throughout my Miss Universe journey when I get to Thailand. And ilalaban ko kayo lahat," she said during the event.

She is set to represent the Philippines and vie for the Miss Universe crown on November 21 in Bangkok, Thailand.

ICYMI: Ameera Almamari graduates from UP Manila with BS Biology, Cum Laude

Reyna ng Aliwan 2024 first runner-up Ameera Almamari has achieved a remarkable milestone, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Philippines Manila.

In a Facebook post, Ameera expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported her journey to graduation. She also reflected on her college experience. "What I do might look glamorous, always wearing beautiful clothes, but it took blood, sweat, and tears to achieve all of it... Despite all the obstacles, I made it here. A graduate of UP Manila," she shared.

Hailing from Atimonan in Quezon province, Ameera was previously crowned Miss Philippines Air 2021, where she advocated the preservation of marine biodiversity. When she competed in Reyna ng Aliwan in 2021, she proudly represented the Tagultol Fishing Festival, a celebration embodying the Atimonan community's gratitude for the abundant marine harvest.
