This bodies of work channels the chaotic, high-intensity energy of Doom, where the player embodies the Doom Slayerâbasically a one-man force just speedrunning the eradication of hellâs entire roster. Itâs loud, relentless, almost hypnotic in how it loops violence into something routine.
But layered into that chaos is a darker, more calculated influence: propaganda tactics from World War IIâspecifically the mass production of dictator imagery used to psychologically condition soldiers within regimes like N*zi regime. These visuals werenât just decorationâthey were lowkey tools of control, engineered to live rent-free in peopleâs heads and shape belief systems over time.
The artist merges these two worldsâone digital and overstimulating, the other historical and insidiously strategic. Itâs giving contrast but also parallels: both rely on repetition, immersion, and imagery that sticks. Whether itâs a player locked into a gameplay loop or a soldier surrounded by propaganda, the line between influence and control starts to blur.
At its core, the work explores how visuals can manipulate perception and identity. Itâs about how symbols, when constantly consumed, start to hit differentâthey embed, they normalize, and eventually, they control.
