This is how we process meat rabbits. To dispatch them in a very humane way, I imported a penetrating bolt gun which stuns whatever small animal you use it on so it doesnt even know its dead. This method also preserves the quality of the meat as well because there is no andrenaline dump from fear or pain.

Part 2/2 (Transfer to Hatchery Tanks)

After noticing that there was a big size disparity between some the ARC (Australian Red Claw Crayfish) in a couple of our ponds, we decided to do a routine (or so we thought) “sorting by size” job.

We ended up doing a partial harvest because the amount of berried females (pregnant females carrying eggs) that we caught. It was a pleasant surprise because of the cold weather we’ve been experiencing lately. Unexpected blessings are always welcome 🙏🏻👆🏻

Join us as we first make the discovery while we were sorting (Part 1) and then moving the females to our hatchery tanks (Part 2).

Added some new rare color variants of P.Clarkii and ARC to our breeding collection:
-Black Ghost
-Purple Haze
-Orange ARC

Got some more of the following color variants to increase the genetic diversity of our breeding stock as well. Craylings will be available soon.

-Pacific Blue Ghost
