WHAT : 420Philippines Family Day

Family Day is a one-whole-day event that is fun for all members of the family, including sports and Filipino-themed parlor games starting at 4:00AM in the morning (i.e. fun run, la-ligalize 3x3 basketball, palarong pinoy such as Sungka, Luksong baka, Agawan Base, etc.) running the whole day, as well as showcase and sale of local products from small businesses in the community (food, clothing and accessories merchandise). There will also be performances of different modes of art such as visual live art, dance, music from local performers as well as short talk on cannabis (cannatalk) from different advocates (9:00-12:00NN). A main event concert shall be held in the evening headlined by Lion and The Scouts, Talahib People’s Music, Jeck Pilpil & Peacepipe, and D**g Abay.

WHO : Cannabis Advocates (Cannatalk speakers and audience)

The event consists of Cannabis Advocates speakers that will present in a large (and growing) group of advocates of the plant. These are Henrie Enaje, Exec. Director of Philippine Cannabis Legal Resource Center (CannaLegal), Lea Fullon Exec. Director of Haraya Policy Center, providing policy research of our legislators, and more. We also have invited Hon. Pantaleon Alvarez and Sen. Robinhood Padilla to grace the event.
Albeit illegal, this event aims to provide awareness of the benefits of cannabis also known as ma*****na. The collective audience are also expected to be staunch supporters of the legalization of cannabis from different parts of the country.

WHEN : April 20, 2023

The day of the event is April 20, 2023 (Thursday) as April 20 is known internationally as International day of Ma*****na with different celebrations and call-to-actions around the world to decriminalize and legalize cannabis across different purposes.

WHERE : Amoranto Sports Complex, Quezon City

All the events shall only be held within the grounds of Amoranto Sports Complex, Quezon City.

WHY : Coverage / interview of cannabis-related information of organic audience from the biggest gathering of advocates

This event shall comprise audiences of different walks of life that supports decriminalization of cannabis (HB 6783 by Hon. Alvarez), and use of cannabis for medical purposes (SB 230 by Sen. Padilla). Furthermore, this will provide media outlets to solicit feedback from a large organic audience. This event is projected to have a headcount of 8,000-10,000, the largest gathering of advocates to date with 420Philippines page having almost half a million followers.
