In today’s Gospel, Jesus commissions His disciples to go forth, make disciples of all nations, and baptize them. As He ascends to heaven, He does not abandon us; instead, He leaves us with a powerful mission and the promise of the Holy Spirit. Even as He returns to the right hand of the Father, the first and second readings remind us that His power and authority remain over all creation, and that He has made us—the Church—His body here on earth. This reminds us that we are never left comfortless; we have a Lord who reigns in glory, pours out His grace upon us, and promises, "I am with you always, until the end of the age."

Happy Birthday, Ben! Ang tenor naming hindi lang boses ang pang-malakasan, kundi pati ang pagiging maaasahan sa voicing at ang laging nagdadala ng good vibes sa grupo. Ang wish namin para sa'yo ay sana palaging masaya ang puso mo, maging successful lahat ng mga goals mo sa buhay, at gabayan ka palagi ni Lord sa bawat hakbang mo. Isang mapagpalang kaarawan sa aming minamahal na Alto, si Lindsay! 🎂

Ngayong araw, ipinagdiriwang namin ang buhay ng isang kapatid na hindi lamang naghahandog ng kanyang magandang boses sa Panginoon, kundi nagpapakita rin ng tunay na kababaang-loob at pagiging ma-respeto sa bawat miyembro ng aming koro. Bilang isang alto, siya ang nagbibigay ng matatag at malalim na pundasyon sa aming mga papuri at awitin para sa Diyos.

Si Lindsay rin ang aming 'silent joy' sa choir loft. Kahit madalas ay seryoso ang kanyang mukha at tila pormal ang awra, lagi siyang may paraan pagpapasaya sa amin—isang paalala na ang paglilingkod ay puno ng kagalakan.

Lindsay, dalangin namin na patuloy kang pagpalain ng Panginoon at panatilihin ang alab sa iyong puso sa pag-awit para sa Kanya. Maraming salamat sa iyong dedikasyon sa ating ministry. Happy Birthday!

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reveals Himself as the Good Shepherd and the Gate for His sheep. He calls each of us by name, promising a life that is full and abundant. Even when we feel lost or scattered like sheep, the first and second readings remind us that through repentance and the grace of His wounds, we are always invited to return to the Shepherd and Guardian of our souls. This reminds us that we are never alone; we have a leader who knows us intimately, protects us, and guides us toward green pastures.

Even when Thomas doubted, Jesus showed His ultimate mercy by reaching out and inviting him to believe. This reminds us that our faith is not based on what we see, but on the presence of the Risen Lord in our lives.

SILAB NILAY
A Parish Lenten Recollection through Reflection and Music

Sa panahon ng Kuwaresma, tayo ay inaanyayahang huminto sandali, magnilay, at muling magbalik-loob sa Diyos. Sa gitna ng ating abalang pamumuhay, nawa’y matagpuan natin ang katahimikan na magpapalalim ng ating pananampalataya at magpapaalala sa atin ng Kanyang walang hanggang pagmamahal.

Inaanyayahan namin ang lahat na makiisa sa gabing ito ng panalangin, pagninilay, at makabuluhang musika na maghahatid sa atin sa mas malalim na pag-unawa sa ating sarili at sa ating ugnayan sa Diyos.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga awitin at pagninilay, nawa’y mabuksan ang ating mga puso, mapanumbalik ang ating lakas espiritwal, at mapalapit tayo sa Kanyang presensya. Ito ay isang pagkakataon upang tahimik na makinig, magnilay, at maghandog ng ating sarili sa Kanya sa mas makabuluhang paraan.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus demonstrates His ultimate power by raising Lazarus from the dead after he had been in the tomb for four days. More than just a physical miracle, this proves that in Jesus, death does not have the final word. Our First Reading from the prophet Ezekiel also reminds us of God’s promise: "I will open your graves and have you rise from them."
The story of Lazarus is an invitation to believe and trust. Despite our own "tombs"—our sins, doubts, and moments of despair—Jesus calls us to come out and live again. As the Responding Psalm echoes, let us hope in His love and redemption. When we open our hearts to Him, His Spirit gives us life, leading us from the darkness of the grave into His marvelous Light.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus heals a man 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝, restoring not only his 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 but also leading him to a deeper 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡. While others question and doubt the miracle, the once-blind man grows in courage and recognizes who Jesus truly is.

The story reminds us that true blindness is not only of the eyes, but of the 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞. When we open ourselves to Christ, he leads us from 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 and reveals the truth of who he is.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus meets the 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 and speaks to her about the 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 that leads to eternal life. What begins as a simple request for water becomes a deeper invitation to encounter the truth and recognize the gift of God.

Through this encounter, the woman comes to believe and shares her testimony with others, leading many to recognize Jesus as the 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝. The Gospel reminds us that Christ alone can satisfy the deepest thirst of the human heart.
