MoonDawgs Entertainment Productions is a technical group that was established a decade and a half ago by Jorge Maria Rafael Amazarray Cui III aka Yordi and the late Emmanuel “Manny” Amador. To help the Philippine Rock Scene be more aware about upcoming rock acts and at the same time help them become a better band sonically. ippine Music Scene since 1990 and has been helping bands such as The Breed, Rizal Underground, Rivermaya Battery, etc. on the road as a Freelance Sound Engineer and has worked his way up to Technical Director status working for Event Companies like PULP,Tribal, etc. Manny Amador on the other hand has been with Bands like The Breed as their lead guitarist and Wall of Sound as Guitar Player and Vocalist. He has done also numerous Session work for other bands till his death last 2011. MoonDawgs Entertainment Productions has the capabilities and experience to run a show and is more of a group that can control and orchestrate an event for you. With its roster of supplier and individual’s that they have been working with all these years, putting together a team will be no problem and will be able to carry out any task that any clientele will need help with no pressure at all. Brief History:
The 2 had been working together for quite some time thru “The Breed” where Manny was their lead guitarist while Yordi started off as a guitar roadie and worked his way up to become the bands official Sound Guy. They had always been toying with the idea of doing a show together where they will be in charge with the Production side of things but there were always other things to take care of since the 2 were always busy with their respective careers. The time finally came last September 15, 2000 where the first ever event “It’s Our Turn To Howl was held in Music Museum featuring Imago, Barbie’s Cradle, Sugar Free, and Battery. This event was successful in a way because all 4 bands became big and have left their respective marks in the Philippine Music Scene. Sadly, there was no immediate follow –up since the 2 had their own Agenda’s. Yordi was on his way to making a name for himself thru the band “Battery” which he was considered as The Fifth Member and also building up a name as a Technical Director for other Event Companies. Manny on the other hand, started getting busy with his new band at the time “Wall OF Sound” and eventually relocated to Cebu until his death last July 22, 2011. MoonDawgs Productions with the Help of Ramon Zialcita and Charlie Ysmael finally awakened again and had another Concert entitled “One more for the Mad Dog” in 19 East last October 11, 2011 featuring Vince Boromeo, Thy Holy Water, Jay Ortega, Blue Moon, House Rockers, The Youth, Dark Orchestra, Anibughaw, Joey Pepe Smith, Gary Perez, Cocojam, Sampaguita, Razorback, Karl Roy with Kapatid, Audiohounds, and The Breed. All was quiet for Moondawgs Productions till March 2015 when we were tasked to join Rivermaya during their Visayan and Mindanao Tour taking care of FOH duties for the band. For Radio Republic , we took care of both recording and mastering the audio part of their videos during the Secret Shopper Sessions. Last August 28, 2015 another event together with Rock Asia Entertainment was held “10 to 1 The Mad Dog Tribute” featuring Charlie Ysmael, Mutiny, and B**g Dailo which was held in 888 Vibers.
