You may think that getting an education at a music school over the summer or on the weekends is just a passing fad, and that it will rarely ever come to use later in the student’s life, but according to Teacher Rose’s study on Peniel Music Productions Alumni, most, if not all, PMP graduates find their education at Peniel relevant to their daily jobs, particularly in:
Improving and maintaining their emotional well-being - Most alumni report that their exposure and discovery of music and their own skill in music-making helps them in their daily lives, and especially at work, where it helps them stay happy and mentally-sharp
As an outlet for creativity - Alumni report that their musical experience helped improve their creativity, and that this creativity was carried over to other fields of work, which helps them in their jobs in both tasks and other endeavors such as team building activities
As a confidence-booster - Many of our alumni report that their education at Peniel helped them boost their confidence, with many taking on risks and responsibilities they otherwise might never have taken without the confidence they picked up from studying music and performing
Patience - Likewise, many alumni cite how important it was to their current employments that their tenure at Peniel helped them develop patience, a skill that translated to other fields and allowed them to perform beyond expectations at work
What is more is that over half of the respondents are currently employed in various musical fields, from church duties to professional careers.
