"BERSERKER DAIGO"
Daigo and Wild Daigo both appeared in Project Justice, and I chose Daigo for this battle because I’m a huge fan of his character. In the game, Daigo is controlled by Kurow through his flute, awakening something dark within him, an evil force represented by his red aura. When you select him, you can actually see that aura bursting out of his body. It kind of reminds me of Evil Ryu in a way.
So for my rendition of Daigo, I imagined a continuation of his story. In the game, you can bring him back to his senses after defeating Kurow. But in my version, Daigo tries to confront that evil aura within him using the small bit of consciousness he still has left. He asks Gan and Edge to restrain and chain him inside an abandoned building. At that point, the real battle happens within himself.
After overcoming it, he emerges victorious—but transformed. This is where we see "Berserker Daigo": a version of him that can now wield immense, almost unlimited power, with that red aura fully coursing through his body.
Man… it sucks that I had to face our art master/mentor so early—and in the first round?! When I found out, my first reaction was literally, “Not you?!” 😂 It honestly feels like an anime battle now, even though we’re both from Konoha lol.
And damn… that Morrigan is amazing! 🔥
Using very limited tools for this art challenge really fired me up—it almost feels like I and Daigo are going through the same battle inside lol.
But honestly, I really enjoyed participating in this!
