𝗢𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Last week, I presided over the Regional Nutrition Council meeting, and I’m pleased to note that the National Nutrition Council (NNC) is fully committed to addressing the problem of malnutrition. It was emphasized that the issue of stunted growth is not due to genetics, but primarily to the lack of proper nutrition.

At present, many agencies are securing funds as part of their mandates to help address malnutrition, therefore aligning our initiatives to the pressing health problem would enhance efficiency in serving the entire region and lead to better health outcomes.

As we share resources with these various agencies, 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, ensuring the health and well-being of the Filipino community.
