⁴⁹“I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! ⁵⁰But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed! ⁵¹Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. ⁵²From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. ⁵³They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

This illustrates how the search of truth often prompts us, into facing uncomfortable realities and doubt the current structure. In an environment where complacency may encourage indifference, the call for division 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 bring about anarchy, yet it 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀 the soul of judgement inside us. It recalls us, that genuine unity is born not from shallow accords, but from a daring dedication to authenticity, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭.
As we navigate the complexities of life, we may find ourselves at a crossroads where our convictions clash with the beliefs of our closest kin. In these periods of conflict, we are asked to delve further into our understanding, engage in meaningful discourse, and develop empathy for numerous points of view. The fire which Jesus speaks of is 𝒂 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆; it fuels passion and clarity, blazing the road to intimate connection. 𝕬𝖘 𝖆𝖓 𝖔𝖚𝖙𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖊, we have to embrace the truth that discord may indicate growth. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸, similarly must our souls and minds be determined to bear the strain of opposing views in order to 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓼𝓼𝓸𝓶 into deeper acceptance and compassion. Let us not dodge the differences that develop, but instead view them as 𝖕𝖔𝖘𝖘𝖎𝖇𝖎𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖎𝖊𝖘 for noteworthy converses that could result in to reconciliation and understanding.
𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞, we receive the message that our connections with each other symbolizes a larger fabric of mankind. Therefore, when we come across troubles in our domiciles and communities, allow ourselves to address them with 𝖜𝖊𝖑𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖍𝖊𝖆𝖗𝖙𝖘 and 𝖆 𝖜𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖙𝖔 𝖍𝖊𝖆𝖗. For it is through these disparities that we 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, one day, find stronger unity—a togetherness established not on inundated agreement, but on a knowledge of the commonality of humanity and the recognition that we're all part of a 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 tale, 𝘸𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘺 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦.
