In celebration of the 78th Founding Anniversary of St. Joseph College-Olongapo Inc. and in honor of the Feast of Saint Joseph, this On-the-Spot Poster Making Competition aims to highlight the enduring partnership and integration of the school and the St. Joseph Parish as a parochial institution.
The activity seeks to showcase studentsโ artistic talents while promoting Josephian values of excellence, compassion, and service for the greater good.

Participants are expected to:
โข Express creatively the given theme through visual art.
โข Illustrate the integration and partnership of the school and the parish church.
โข Reflect Josephian values:
โข Husay sa Gawa (Excellence in Work)
โข Bait sa Kapwa (Kindness to Others)
โข Buti sa Lahat (Goodness for All)
โข Promote pride in 78 years of Josephian service and mission.
โข The event will supervise by the Arts and Design Club to be monitored by Mr. Joshua S. Mundia, the club adviser.

โข Open to Grade 11 and 12 students of St. Joseph College-Olongapo Inc. SHS Department
โข Each strand/grade level may send official representatives
โข Participants must register prior to the competition date

โข The competition is On-the-Spot
โข Participants will create an original poster based solely on the given theme
โข The medium must be strictly limited to 1/4 Illustration Board (10โ x 15โ)
โข There is no limitation in art materials (e.g., watercolor, acrylic, oil pastel, colored pencils, markers, mixed media, etc.)
โข Participants must bring their own art materials
โข The official working time is 2โ3 hours (to be finalized by the committee)
โข The event will take place in the SHS Library
โข The theme must be clearly visible and incorporated into the artwork
The poster must reflect:
โข The identity of the school as a parochial institution
โข The spiritual guidance of St. Joseph
โข The collaboration between school and parish
Participants may include official symbols such as:
โข The image of St. Joseph
โข The school seal
โข The parish church faรงade
โข The number โ78โ
Additional reminders:
โข Only the participant is allowed in the designated working area. No coaching or assistance is permitted
โข Participants must write their name, grade/strand, and section at the back of the illustration board
All entries will be displayed on the following sites and dates:

โข St. Joseph Parish (March 18โ19, 2026)

The decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and irrevocable.

โข Use of pre-made printed materials, stencils, traced images, or pre-sketched layouts

Violation of any rule will result in automatic disqualification.

Winners will receive Certificates of Recognition and medal during the Founding Anniversary celebration.

All winning entries shall become the property of St. Joseph College-Olongapo Inc. and may be used for publication, exhibits, or promotional materials related to the 78th Founding Anniversary and Feast of St. Joseph.
