MIDFEST SPOTLIGHT: Tanghalang Suhay Dance Company OF NAVOTAS CITY.

Tanghalang Suhay Dance Company is committed to encouraging all dancers to strive for excellence and enjoy the journey along the way. We believe each dancer has the ability to increase her/his physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being through our dance program. Tanghalang Suhay Dance Company promotes strong self-confidence, self-respect, discipline, and appreciation through the theater and dance.

We inspire every dancer to find the creativity inside her/him as we dance to tell a story each year. This is the generation of dancers that can step up and make a change in human kindness and create positive attitudes for our future.

Different award and recognition have been given to the groups aside for Division, Regional and National Festival of Talents here are some of those: Dangal ng Lahi Award 2022 “Most Inspiring and Remarkable Dance Company of the Year” Waterfront Insular Hotel, Davao City,Star Award 2022 “Most Remarkable Dance Company”, SM Sangandaan, Caloocan City. Siklab 2022-Sanggunian Kabataan of Tanza 2 Awardee, Tanza 2 , Navotas City, The group perform in different event Buhay Ka pa Norma by Alyansa, Haraya in cooperation of NCCA 2022, Dance on Air by NCCA (episode 6, 2021), Adventure Dance by Department of Tourism-Ayala Mall 2022, An Evening of Song and Dances-SDO Navotas City 2022, Bungkusan by PAGMANA Inc (2017-2022), Ani ng Sining by NCCA Program, Tampok 12-Alyansa NCR, Daungan of Katanghal Inc. and Various Performances in the Community, Church, LGU and School. The group is always open for innovation.

It also mounts production play “Mga Tanong”, “Liblib”, Hibla-Hibla: Ang Babae sa Bubungan Lata, Mga Kwento sa Limot na Daan at Oyayi sa Dilim: Mga Panaghoy sa Kawalan.

Tanghalang Suhay Dance Company ...see you at Centro de Entablado sa Centro De Intramuros this coming Saturday at 4:00 pm..

Sa bawat katahimikan ay may kuwentong naghihintay na marinig. Sa bawat luha ay may panaghoy na matagal nang ikinubli ng dilim. Mula sa mga damdaming ito isinilang ang "OYAYI sa Dilim: Mga Panaghoy sa Kawalan," ang pinakabagong production play ng Tanghalang Suhay Dance Company—isang makapangyarihang pagtatanghal na nagsisilbing tinig ng mga pusong nasaktan, nawalan, at patuloy na lumalaban.

Sa pamamagitan ng malikhaing pagsasanib ng sayaw, teatro, at musika, ilalahad ng produksyon ang iba't ibang mukha ng pagkawala—pagkawala ng minamahal, ng tahanan, ng pangarap, ng pagkakakilanlan, at maging ng pag-asa. Ang bawat eksena ay nagsilbing salamin ng mga karanasang madalas ay hindi naipapahayag sa salita, ngunit naipadarama sa bawat galaw, ekspresyon, at himig.

Ang salitang "Oyayi," na karaniwang iniuugnay sa isang awit ng paghele, ay ginamit bilang sagisag ng pagnanais na pagaanin ang sakit ng mga sugatang kaluluwa. Sa gitna ng dilim at kawalan, ang pag-hele ay naging paalala na ang bawat sugat ay may pag-asang maghilom, at ang bawat luha ay maaaring maging binhi ng panibagong lakas.

Hindi lamang ipamamalas ng mga mananayaw at artista ang kanilang husay sa entablado, kundi ibabahagi rin nila ang kanilang puso sa bawat pagganap. Ang kanilang dedikasyon, disiplina, at sining ay nagbigay-buhay sa mga kuwentong sumasalamin sa katatagan ng tao sa harap ng matitinding pagsubok.

Ang "OYAYI sa Dilim: Mga Panaghoy sa Kawalan" ay higit pa sa isang production play. Isa itong paanyaya sa bawat manonood na damhin, unawain, at yakapin ang mga sugat na matagal nang ikinukubli. Isa rin itong paalala na sa likod ng bawat dilim ay may liwanag na naghihintay, at sa bawat kawalan ay may pag-asang muling mabuo ang nasirang pangarap.

Sa pagtatapos ng bawat tagpo, nananatili ang mensahe ng produksyon—na ang tunay na lakas ay hindi nasusukat sa kawalan ng pagdurusa, kundi sa tapang na magpatuloy sa kabila nito. At sa bawat pag-indak, bawat panaghoy, at bawat katahimikan, muling pinatunayan ng Tanghalang Suhay Dance Company na ang sining ay hindi lamang aliwan, kundi isang makapangyarihang daluyan ng paghilom, pag-asa, at pagbabago.
