[OBITUARY]
December 5, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rener Concepcion, a beloved member of the Nasugbu creative community, on December 4, 2025.

Rener was an actor, scholar, and educator—most widely known for his roles in the films Bar Boys and Goyo, and for his powerful poems recited in local public movements and community gatherings. Through his work, he gave voice to both art and struggle.

He is remembered with great love and respect by his students across universities, schools, and communities as a mentor who led with care in every production he touched.

The Nasugbu Cultural Mapping joins his family, friends, students, and loved ones in mourning the loss of not only a creative pillar, but a true friend to the Nasugbu community.
