Sinag-Ani Cultural Dance Troupe

The SINAG-ANI CULTURAL DANCE TROUPE from the Municipality of Narra Palawan joins the celebration of Baragatan Festival 2024 held last June 18, 2024 at the PGP Convention Center, Capitol Compound.

The dancetroupe performed various Spanish Dances at the ‘GABI NG KULTURANG PILIPINO’ featuring Palawan Based Cultural Dance Companies presented by the Provincial Government of Palawan, National Commission for Cultural and the Arts (NCCA) National Commission for Culture and the Arts and Samahang Tagapagtaguyod ng Katutubong Sayaw ng Pilipinas - Philippine Folk Dance Society Philippine Folk Dance Society-Palawan Chapter with the theme “Kalayaan 2024: Kalayaan , Kinabukasan , Kasaysayan.

Thank you so much again Sir Ceasar Sammy Magbanua for this remarkable event and opportunity. Maraming salamat po sa tiwala Sir Cyrus Claridad that you invite us again sa event na ‘to 🫡

Big thanks to Narra Tourism Office for your continuous support and for always recognizing us. Thank you also to the Municipal Culture and Arts Office through the leadership of Ma’am Joelyn Gulane-Bandong for addressing and arranging the needs of the dancers. You all made this possible for us to perform on such prestigious event ❤️.

To the Alumni Members of PSU Sining Palawan Dance Troupe, maraming salamat po sa moral support saamin since Day 1. Thank you for always lending us a helping hand and for the significant advices to improve our dancetroupe. Especially, to Sir Raymond Delos Reyes saaming napaka gandang costume 😍. You always made sure to give the best for us 🥰.

Lastly, thank you so much to the dancers for your love and passion in dancing. You survive the intensive trainings and late night practices na minsan naabutan pa ng brownout. Worth it ang pagod, kalyo, hirap at sacrifices niyo because you made it to the stage! 👏👏👏
You gave us a graceful and beautiful performance 🫶💃🏼.

Theme: "Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan"

Nakiisa ang Pamahalaan ng Narra sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kalayaan 2024 na may temang "Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan".

Bilang pakikiisa sa selebrasyon na Araw ng Kalayaan ay nagsagawa ng Flag Raising Ceremony ang mga kawani ng LGU Narra, National Agencies, Barangay Officials and School Administrators sa pangunguna ni butihing Mayor Gerandy B. Danao.

Sa Araw ng Kalayaan ngayong taon, hinihikayat natin ang bawat Pilipino na patuloy na makiisa sa pagtataguyod ng kapayapaan, katarungan, at kaunlaran. Sa pagpapakita ng pagmamahal sa bayan at pagtutulungan, tayo'y magtatagumpay sa pagharap sa anumang hamon at pagsubok na darating.

Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan sa ating lahat! Patuloy tayong magkaisa at magtulungan para sa mas maunlad at mas makatarunganang kinabukasan ng Pilipinas! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!

CORDILLERA SUITE. This dances of Cordillera people aimed at celebrating the richness and uniqueness of their weaving traditions. Distinct from the rest of the Filipinos like their famed payyo or fayu (rice terraces), the Cordillerans were successful in resisting the Hispanization that happened in much of Luzon and Visayas. This proved beneficial as it safeguarded their native cultures and identities when the rest of the islands were becoming westernized. This showcase, which poems the suite, is a display of the colorful culture of the Cordillera and a parade of their costumes, body ornamentation, and dance vignettes.
