Last May 28, HU2C accomplished its final academic requirement for the SY 2023-2024 with โCorique or Charizzโ, a game show inspired by Celebrity Bluff by the popular media agency, GMA.
Corique or Charizz showcased a unique twist by having the second voices named Id, Ego, and Superego, individuals that guide the participants in giving their final answers by either giving true or falsified explanations. This demands the teams to use their critical thinking and memory to discern what is โCoriqueโ from โCharizz.โ
The game show also highlighted information from the specialized subjects of the HUMSS and GA strands, making the students recall the lessons they have encountered from the past semesters.
At the end of the activity, Team Danieca Ong was hailed as the champion with a total of 17,000 points, Team Kween Yasmin claimed the second place with 14,500 points with Team Shaira as the third placer with 14,000 points. Finally, Team Mimiyuh and Team Kim Chiu tied at fourth place with 13,500 points.
Ken Yllwenz Isaiah O. Tabilog, one of the project heads, along with Leila Caudilla, expressed that the motivating factor of HU2C for completing the event was the fact that they are nearing graduation.
โSince this is our last requirement, it made us want to give it our all and our best,โ said the project head and class president of HU2C.
