DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
As Jesus told St. Faustina, His mercy is like an infinite ocean. It is said that our sins, no matter how heavy, are like a single drop of dirt before the vast ocean of His compassion.
We are not just recipients of mercy; we are called to be its conduit. As stated in the Beatitudes:
"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy" -Matthew 5:7
It is difficult to forgive and show mercy to those who have hurt us, but this is the ultimate evidence that Christ dwells in our hearts.
Divine Mercy Sunday is a reminder that no one is "beyond redemption." As long as there is life, there is a chance to return to Him. His wounded heart is always open to those who desire a new beginning.
May this serve as an inspiration to us not just today, but every day that we encounter our fellow man. Truly, love and mercy are intertwined—you do not truly love if you lack the capacity to show mercy.
Jesus, I trust in You!
