The Concert Piano Studio of Jovianney Emmanuel Cruz was established in 1991 when the University of the Philippines College of Music's legendary former Deans Rey Paguio & Juan Ramos invited the new Manhattan School of Music graduate to teach. Throughout his 22 years at UPCMu, standout graduates graced the studio - notably Casmelyn Quicoy, Geraldine Gonzales, Bridel Catapang, April Sta. Maria, Emmanuel Tio, Josiah Samaniego, Clement Cruz - just to name a very few. Privately, Maestro Jovianney's pedagogical methodology has spread internationally by working with the Wild Grass Studio of Korean pianist-teacher Sunny SunHwa Joo, award-winning American pianist Kristian Mendoza, and Belgian Ambassador HE Michel Goffin, aside from conducting masterclasses in Asia, Europe, & the United States the past 33 years.

On August 9 and 16, led by performances by Cruz himself, you will witness, listen, & understand the essence of the Studio's motto "changing the colors of the keyboard" at the current pupils' salon concerts headlined CLASSIFIED IMPRESSIONS.
