𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟓 | 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗚𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬

Today we celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, when she was taken body and soul into heaven. Her Assumption reminds us of the hope that awaits us and the promise of eternal life with God.

As young people, we look to Mama Mary as a model of faith, humility, and trust. Her life teaches us to say yes to God, remain faithful in every season, and keep our hearts close to Him.

May Mama Mary continue to guide us closer to Jesus and inspire us to live with faith, hope, and love.💙🤍

Last night, the BYCA members gathered once again for our weekly choir rehearsal. Another evening spent learning, practicing, and growing together through music.

𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 the different 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 of our parish, united in one mission to glorify God and honor our Blessed Mother through song.

𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐀𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍

Instead of an entrance fee, we humbly accept 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧-𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, such as:
• Rice
• Instant Noodles
• Canned Goods
• Coffee
• Sugar
• Cooking Oil

𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺.

Come with your family and friends for a night of 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫, 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲. Let every song become our offering to Mary, and every donation become a blessing for those in need.

The BYCA Choir was blessed to serve at the 5:00 PM Mass as we celebrated the Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, offering our voices in prayer and praise.

In the Gospel (Matthew 14:13–21), Jesus feeds the five thousand with five loaves and two fish, showing that no offering is too small when placed in God's hands. With faith and generosity, He provides more than enough for everyone.

As Catholic youth, may we always be willing to offer our time, talents, and hearts to God, trusting that He can use even our simplest acts of service to bless the lives of others.

𝗧𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗜𝗥 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 💙🎼

Last Thursday, the BYCA members gathered for our weekly choir practice in preparation for our Sunday Mass Service.

Every rehearsal is an opportunity to grow together in faith, harmony, and service. Through every song we practice, we continue to offer our voices and talents in praising God and leading the faithful in worship.

Thank you to everyone who dedicated their time and effort in preparation for our Sunday service. May our songs always give glory to God and inspire others to draw closer to Him.

𝗠𝗟𝗠 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 💙🎶

Last Sunday, the BYCA family attended the Ministry of Liturgical Music (MLM) General Practice together with the different choirs of Mary, Mother of God Parish.

It was a meaningful time of preparation, fellowship, and unity as we practiced together in serving the Lord through music. May we continue to use our voices and talents to glorify God and faithfully fulfill our ministry.

𝗕𝗨𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗢 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

What a grace-filled and unforgettable overnight journey! 💙💛

Last 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, some members of 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗕𝗬𝗖𝗔) had the privilege of representing 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 (𝗠𝗠𝗚𝗣) as delegates to the 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, held at the 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮ñ𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗹 – 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗲ñ𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗼.

Together with fellow Catholic youth from across the Diocese of Parañaque, we experienced an evening filled with prayer, worship, inspiring talks, fellowship, and meaningful encounters that renewed our faith and strengthened our love for Christ and our Blessed Mother.

One of our greatest takeaways from the Congress was the Bishop's simple yet powerful reminder: “Laging mag-KAPE" — 𝗞𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆. Just as we never forget to make time for our daily coffee, may we never forget to make time to speak with God each day. A few moments in prayer can strengthen our hearts, guide our decisions, and remind us that He is always with us.

We return to our parish carrying not only joyful memories and new friendships, but also renewed hearts, a deeper Marian devotion, and a greater desire to serve God and His Church.

The BYCA Choir was blessed to serve at the 6:30 PM Anticipated Mass as we gathered in faith and thanksgiving on the Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time.

In the Gospel (Matthew 13:44–52), Jesus reminds us that the Kingdom of Heaven is the greatest treasure we can ever receive. It is worth giving our time, our hearts, and our lives to follow Him. When we choose Christ above all else, we discover a joy that nothing in this world can replace.

As Catholic youth, may we continue to seek God's Kingdom first, treasure our faith, and joyfully share His love through our service and daily lives.

With grateful hearts and joyful spirits, some of our Bayanan Youth Catholic Action (BYCA) members are now on their way to the Buen Suceso Youth Congress 2026 as the delegates of Mary, Mother of God Parish (MMGP).

As we gather with fellow Catholic youth from across the Diocese of Parañaque, may this journey deepen our faith, strengthen our devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and inspire us to become true bearers of God's grace and witnesses of Christ's love.

We humbly ask for your prayers for our delegates as they participate in this meaningful Jubilee celebration. May Our Lady of Buen Suceso guide, protect, and accompany them throughout this grace-filled encounter.
