As we celebrate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary today, it’s the perfect time to pause and honor the woman whose birth brought so much grace and hope into the world! Her lifelong "yes" continues to serve as an inspiring light, guiding us to live out our faith with devotion and heart every single day…

…and of course, September 8th is always a great day to send Mama Mary our warmest birthday love~ ❤️

Almost two weeks after our General Assembly and the results are finally conclusive—Design #3 has won by a landslide! The wait’s soon going to be over, ITllectuals, as the design you see from this post will be printed out to be worn on our necks as a marker that you’re part of our IT fam…

…and of course, it looks cool after all~✨

"𝗜𝘀 𝗜𝘁 𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗱? 𝗜𝘀 𝗜𝘁 𝗮 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲?"

It's National Heroes Day! Amongst many outstanding Filipino people, it's those ordinary everyday men and women that stand out. The same heroes that shaped the country's culture and history are the same people that held hands, shared meals, and lovingly thought of the people that they held in their hearts dearly. It is their acts of selflessness that cemented themselves as being this country's heroes, but more importantly, good examples on what we should strive to become.

This day celebrates those bold enough to make their voice and their actions known and heard; a day dedicated not to violence, but heroism; bravery, not cowardice. As said in one of cinema's most overused mottos: "With great power comes great responsibility."

Now, it is your turn to show that responsibility.

The Eye of BITS has awoken! You thought we weren’t watching you? Well, our keen eyes on the ground spotted a few of you guys saving a checkpoint. Surprise—you’re immortalized! We weren’t kidding when we said that we are watching you, and that someone out there has a camera waiting to snap that peaceful moment.

Jokes aside, we hope that all of you had fun, and in some cases a good rest, this GA. Cheers to more events.

“𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆!”

Took a while, but now that everyone had the chance to gather together, the party’s just getting started! Last August 24, 2026 at the Tugade Auditorium marked the day that BITS held its General Assembly entitled Techraria: Spawn Point. Not only had we been able to talk about everything BITS related, but we were also able to have fun.

Indeed it was a party, and even though the day itself has already passed, we can’t wait to share more events with you as the year goes by. There are a lot more final bosses that we’ve yet to discover…in fact, you may feel something watching you already. So, best be ready, Bytes!

Mirrorless camera or point-and-shoot, every moment captured with you is one to remember. Happiest Birthday to our Associate EVP — Shean Ortiz! In guessing your favorite food, our first guess would have been cheese, because whether it’d be the usual paperworks or manning the camera and giving us something to remember for years to come.

Enough with the cheesy greetings, go and enjoy your day, Shean! Do what makes you happy and remember to always give us that signature smile of yours — you never know if someone has a camera set up nearby taking pictures…so give them your best shot.

The last of the many pillars have been destroyed and there are just a few more hours before the final boss comes…the BITS General Assembly 2026! The Moon Lord can wait, because tomorrow at 10:00AM at the Tugade Auditorium we’ll finally be meeting in person to know more about our organization, meet professors and friends, have fun and enjoy.

Don’t miss it! There might be a few quirky characters or interesting items that you may love. We’ll guide you through everything before anything weird happens—especially if something happens.

“𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲”

Today we celebrate the life of someone who is nothing short of extraordinary—Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. This is someone who serves as one of our country’s heroes, and in the grander scheme of things, a fellow Filipino that sacrificed his life for the greater good and democracy that we strive for every single day.

Ninoy doesn’t just stand as another Filipino Hero, but one of the random access memories that help run our country’s course for years to come. That saying, his legacy will never serve just as a memory, but a constant reminder for us to do good and serve what is right. Indeed: “The Filipino is worth dying for.”
