May dumating isang alok na hindi mo basta tinatanggihan.
Hindi ito token honorarium.
Hindi ito “pang-coffee lang.”
Hindi ito freelance side-gig.
Halos ₱100,000 kada buwan.
Hindi para mag-imbestiga.
Hindi para magbantay.
Hindi para magtanong.
Kundi para tumahimik.
They didn’t say “lie.”
They said “tone it down.”
They didn’t say “cover it up.”
They said “frame it better.”
They didn’t say “protect.”
They said “be constructive.”
Pero malinaw:
they were trying to influence my voice -
so they could mute my truth.

Binibili nila ang katahimikan mo.
₱100k a month is not compensation -
it is consent engineering.
It is the monthly subscription fee for your silence.

They were not hiring a writer.

The road with receipts instead of favors.
I chose to remain unownable.

Sa bawat content creator, blogger, vlogger, influencer, writer, designer, at storyteller:
Huwag ninyong sukatin ang inyong panulat sa short-term income.
Yes - the offers are real.
Yes - the numbers can change lives overnight.
Yes - the temptation is human.
But remember:
Short-term silence creates long-term poverty.
Short-term comfort creates generational suffering.
Short-term loyalty to power creates long-term chains for our children.
Every time a creator chooses money over truth,
a corrupt politician gains another year in office.
Another budget is stolen.
Another classroom stays broken.
Another hospital remains understaffed.
Another Filipino remains trapped.
Hindi lang tayo gumagawa ng content.
We are shaping memory.
We are shaping anger.
We are shaping hope.
We are shaping what the next generation will tolerate.
Kung papayag tayong mabili ngayon,
we are selling not just our voices -
we are selling the breathing space of our children.

We gain a country.
We gain safer streets.
