The ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ (๐๐๐๐), through the ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐, formally introduced the ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐๐๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌโ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐๐๐) ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ during its Soft Launch held on ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, at the ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐๐) ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ.
A collaborative initiative of the Cultural Affairs Office, College of Education, College of Arts and Social Sciences, and the University Library, the CREATE Project serves as a strategic platform for recognizing, protecting, promoting, and commercializing the University's research outputs and creative works. The initiative reflects CLSU's continuing commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, academic excellence, and cultural development as it moves toward realizing its Education Economic Zone 2030 Strategic Plan.
Building on this vision, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco described the CREATE Project as a transformative initiative that bridges research, creativity, and innovation with real-world opportunities. She emphasized that CREATE is designed to cultivate a culture where ideas are not only developed but also transformed into solutions, enterprises, and innovations that benefit communities and contribute to national development.
The soft launch was more than the unveiling of a new University initiative; it became a celebration of the vibrant artistic community that continues to flourish within CLSU. The audience was treated to outstanding performances from the University's resident cultural groups, including the CLSU Maestro Singers, whose choral presentations showcased musical excellence; the Bithay Sining Dance Company, which captivated the audience through dynamic dance performances; the CLSU Rondalla, which celebrated Filipino musical heritage; and the Tanghalang Gagalaw sa CLSU, whose theatrical performances demonstrated the transformative power of the performing arts.
Adding color and creativity to the occasion, CLSU PIGURA mounted an exhibit of visual artworks throughout the OVPAA Amphitheater, turning the venue into a gallery that reflected the imagination, skill, and artistic vision of the University's visual artists.
During the presentation of the CREATE Project, University Professor Dr. Florante P. Ibarra, Project Leader, underscored the importance of collective commitment in ensuring the success of the initiative.
The successful soft launch marks the beginning of a transformative journey for the CREATE Project, one that seeks to bridge research, creativity, innovation, and community engagement. Through this initiative, CLSU strengthens its commitment to empowering faculty members, nurturing artistic excellence, and creating opportunities where research and creative works generate meaningful impact for the University and society.
As the University continues to move toward its Education Economic Zone 2030 vision, the CREATE Project stands as a testament to CLSU's belief that creativity, culture, and innovation are powerful drivers of sustainable development and institutional excellence.
