DR. RANDY T. NOBLEZA Nominee for MAN OF VALOR 2026

An Associate Professor II at the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) of Marinduque State University (MarSU), Dr. Nobleza is a distinguished scholar specializing in foreign languages, media and journalism, and cultural heritage. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Philippine Studies (Language, Culture, and Media) from De La Salle University Manila, a Master of Arts in Philippine Studies from the University of the Philippines Diliman, and a Diploma in Photojournalism from Ateneo de Manila University as a World Press Photo Scholar at the Asian Center for Journalism.
Dr. Nobleza's work is deeply rooted in heritage conservation, cultural mapping, traditional arts, and island studies. A prolific researcher, author, and columnist, he has published numerous scholarly and media works and continues to champion the preservation and promotion of Filipino culture and identity.
His leadership extends beyond academia through active involvement in local, national, and international organizations dedicated to culture, education, environmental stewardship, and community development. In 2023, he was honored as an Island Innovation Ambassador and became one of the founding members of the Island Innovation Academic Council.
Through initiatives such as the BUSLO ng Marinduque Journal, Dalumat Colloquia, Marinduque Triennale, and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Trifecta, Dr. Nobleza continues to inspire students, researchers, cultural workers, and communities in advancing the cause of education, heritage preservation, and nation-building.
His unwavering commitment to scholarship, cultural advocacy, and public service embodies the true spirit of valor, leadership, and excellence.
