𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗙𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗕𝗜𝗥𝗗𝗦—In most halfsiders we see that the left side and the right side of their body have different colors, but there are also three-quarters and four-quarters birds. In these pictures you will see beautiful color patterns in different parts of their bodies; some call them "𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬" because of the different colors that you find in their bodies.

Everyone has seen these half-siders in real life or in the pictures around the internet. Some are very lucky to have these birds in their aviary. It's very rare to happen to every bird enthusiast.

This is not a mutation; it's a condition called "𝐭𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚." In genetics, it's the result of non-identical twins fusing together early in their development to become one.

Are these birds still able to reproduce and give fertile eggs?
