The safety of our artists, collectors, guests, and community will always come first.

Due to the current parade of storms and the forecast of intensified weather conditions, Eiden Art Gallery has officially postponed the opening and Artist Reception of our Student Group Show.

While we were all looking forward to celebrating this milestone today, we believe giving everyone the opportunity to attend safely is the most important decision we can make.

This exhibition represents the dreams, courage, and dedication of our student artists as they take one of their first steps into the professional art world. We hope you’ll continue to support them when our doors officially open next week.

Today, we celebrate not only your birthday, but also the kindness, dedication, and heart you’ve shared with everyone who walked through the doors of Eiden Art Gallery.

As you temporarily step away to focus on your studies and continue your journey as a proud Dean’s Lister in your upcoming third year of college, we couldn’t be more proud of you. Your dreams deserve your full attention, and we know you’ll continue to achieve great things.

Thank you for every conversation with our collectors, every warm welcome to our artists, and every thoughtful response to every inquiry. Your genuine hospitality, patience, and care never went unnoticed. Many of our artists and collectors have come to appreciate not only your professionalism but also the warmth and sincerity you brought into every interaction.

STUDENT GROUP SHOW 2026

Every artist starts somewhere.

Before the exhibitions, before the collectors, before the recognition—there was simply a student with a dream, hoping that one day their work would be seen.

At Eiden Art Gallery, we believe opportunities should not be reserved only for established artists. They should also be given to those who are still learning, still discovering their voice, and courageous enough to share their work with the world.

The Student Group Show 2026 is more than an exhibition. It is an introduction to the life of an exhibiting artist. It is an opportunity for student artists from different schools, backgrounds, and skill levels to experience what it means to present their work professionally inside a gallery, connect with fellow artists, meet collectors, and become part of the larger art community.

For many of these students, this will be their very first exhibition.

Every artwork you see represents not only talent, but also courage—the courage to begin.

We warmly invite collectors, artists, educators, families, friends, and art enthusiasts to celebrate and support the next generation of Filipino artists. Your presence, encouragement, and conversations may become the inspiration that helps shape an artist’s future.

Because sometimes, all a young artist needs is one opportunity…
and someone who believes in them.

Some exhibitions ask you to simply look.

We invite you to leave a part of yourself behind.

Throughout the entire run of our 1×1 Group Show, our Open Canvas Wall will remain open to every visitor. Pick up a marker, write a thought, sketch a memory, draw something meaningful, or simply leave a small mark that says, “I was here.” There are no rules to creativity—only respect for one another and the shared space.

This wall is more than an installation. It is a living record of every conversation, every laugh, every friendship formed, every family that visited, every artist inspired, and every collector who became part of this moment. Day after day, the wall will slowly transform into a collective artwork created not by one artist, but by an entire community.

When the exhibition comes to an end, the wall will be painted over once again. The drawings, signatures, and messages will disappear from sight—but not from the story. They will remain hidden beneath new layers of paint, becoming part of the gallery’s history, quietly reminding us that every exhibition leaves something behind, even when it can no longer be seen.

Art has always been about connection as much as creation. The Open Canvas is our way of celebrating that idea. It reminds us that galleries are not only places where art is displayed—they are places where memories are made, friendships begin, ideas are exchanged, and people become part of something larger than themselves.
