UMBAC TOUR Season II - Rules and Terms
1. Eligibility
A. Open to All Maranao players
B. Each team must have 5 main players and 1 substitute.
2. Registration
A. Teams must complete registration before the deadline.
B. Teams are required to submit player IGN's and ML ID.
C. Team names must be appropriate.
D. 500 pesos registration per team. Registration fees are non-refundable.
E. Teams must submit photos of each member (waist to head must be visible). Team logos must also be submitted if available.
3. Match Format
A. All matches follow standard MLBB draft mode.
B. Format: Best of 3 (BO3), double elimination. Finals Best of 5 (BO5). If necessary, there will be a Finals reset if the finalist from the Upper Bracket loses the first B05.
C. No in-tournament team seeding will be held. Organizers may refer to other tournament results for seeding if available.
4. Schedule
A. Teams must be ready at least 10 minutes before match time. At the schedule match time, all players should already be present in the game lobby. The team with all members present may choose to grant five minutes extra waiting time for the opposing team.
B. Late teams may forfeit.
C. Teams are responsible for securing their team availability during scheduled matches. No-shows will result to automatic loss.
D. In cases where both teams cannot field a complete roster at match time, the one with the least number of players in the lobby will forfeit the game.
5. Gameplay Rules
A. No cheating, scripting, or third-party tools.
B. Only registered IGN's/ID's will be allowed to play.
C. No spectators except organizers.
D. Respect pause rules (max 2 pauses per team, 10 minutes total for both).
6. Conduct
A. Toxic behavior, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct is strictly prohibited. No ingame or chatgroup trashtalking. TP is free for all. Teams caught violating this term will be reprimanded and, on second offense, will be given an automatic game loss in their current series. Serious violations of this may result to automatic forfeitures of the offending team's matches, as management deem necessary after internal deliberations.
B. Decisions by admins are final.
7. Technical Issues
A. Players are responsible for their internet connection and power supply. Get chargers and power banks ready. Match remakes will only be initiated if match host loses connection or power, without prejudice to already-concluded matches.
8. Streaming
A. Matches may be livestreamed on official channels.
B. Teams agree to use of their names/images for broadcast.
9. Prizes
A. UMBAC Tour Season 2 total prize pool is twenty thousand pesos (P20k).
B. Distribution handled after tournament completion, and exclusively from a prize pool consisting of team registration fees. Sponsor money, if available, will also be added to the prize pool.
10. Final Authority
A. Tournament organizers reserve the right to modify rules if necessary.
