ALAB 2026 🔥| Pananampalataya, Pag-asa, Pag-ibig

Last March 4-6, 2026, we joined the whole Thomasian community in celebrating the ALAB university-wide retreat. The Liturgikon Vocal Ensemble, along with the UST Coro Tomasino and UST Symphony Orchestra, was blessed to be given the opportunity to offer our talents in singing for each of the masses for every day of the retreat, as well as for other devotions that the Thomasian community took part in.

May this year's theme of Pananampalataya, Pag-asa, Pag-ibig; known also to us as the Tria Haec, remind us to root ourselves in the virtues of faith, hope, and love, as we journey through life as Thomasians and as Christians.

Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes— measure in love, seasons of love🫶🥰🎶

Sharing laughter, joy, and happiness with one another, the LVE has able to conduct a "salo-salo" with all of its members, amidst various plans, commitments and endeavours the group has faced this academic-year.

Christmas, and the season of giving may have come, yet the season to choose and give something special to someone chooses no specific time, to make them feel special🫶🥹💛

Enjoined by this celebration of LVE, with all the members from the group including its new trainees and with our dear conductor, sir Anthony Villanueva🤩🥳😍

Bawat araw mas sumasaya magmula nang makita ka — Thomasian Community!🐯💛 🌄💯🎶

Going back to the recent Music Week with the theme: "Indak!," The UST Liturgikon Vocal Ensemble performed for Musikalakbay this 2026!

Musikalakbay is a tradition by UST Conservatory of Music's organizations to perform in various college buildings of the University, bringing and celebrating the joy of Music.

This year's Musikalakbay was performed in Albertus Magnus Building and Fr. Roque R. Ruaño Building from 12 NN to 1 P.M. during the 1st day of Music Week.

To maximize the occasion, LVE also pitched a booth located on the 5th floor of Albertus Magnus Building, along with other organizations and departments from the Conservatory of Music. Truly, it has been a fruitful week, and LVE is the happiest to have shared it with the Thomasian community. 🎶

"Repent and believe in the Gospel." – Mark 1:15

The Liturgikon Vocal Ensemble, alongside the Thomasian community, gathered and participated in the eucharistic celebration for the Ash Wednesday mass last February 18, 2026, at the UST Plaza Mayor.

The Lenten Activities such as the Kumpisalang Bayan at 3 P.M. before the mass in University, was conducted by the Center for Campus Ministry – announced on the page of the University for preparation and information of the Thomasian Community.

Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, a 40-Day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving in preparation of the Resurrection. A period to repent and reflect with ourselves ,that would lead our hearts closer to God.
