Located on the 3rd floor of FGS Mabuhay Temple, Malate, Manila, our gallery offers a peaceful and welcoming environment to explore a wide variety of art forms. Each exhibition is curated around a unique theme, showcasing new works that are rotated regularly to provide fresh artistic experiences. Our exhibitions feature contemporary and Buddhist art, sculpture, calligraphy, paintings, and youth artwork from global competitions. The Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery – Branch 21, Philippines was honored to attend the Awarding Ceremony of the 9th International Children’s Environmental Conservation Painting Competition – “Children’s Painting of the Climate Future”, 第九屆國際少兒環保公益繪畫大賽 [ 童繪氣候未來] 頒獎活動 held on August 15, 2026, at the Future Theatre in Beijing, China.

主辦單位：中國宋慶齡基金會 星雲文化教育公益基金會
Organized by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and the Hsing Yun Cultural and Educational Public Welfare Foundation, the competition brought together young artists from 21 participating countries : 中國china、美國usa、加拿大Canada、英國england、 澳大利亞Australia、新西蘭NZ、瑞典sweden、德國GERMANY、西班牙 SPAIN、匈牙利Hungary、巴西brazil、日本japan、韓國korea、菲律賓phil、新加坡Singapore 、馬來西亞malaysia、印度india、南非South Africa 、香港Hongkong、澳門Macau ， 台灣 Taiwan and regions, with an impressive 8,810 artworks submitted. 🌱🌍

We are also proud to share that Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery – Branch 21, Philippines received the Organizational Excellence Award 菲律賓佛光緣美術館第21分館 組織獎 for its contribution and support in promoting environmental awareness through art.

60 Years of Passing the Lamp, Honoring a 100-Year Legacy

A Warm Welcome to Pujiang Huiyun Temple 浦江惠云讲寺

We were honored to welcome Venerable Master Yueqing (月清法师) and the delegation from Pujiang Huiyun Temple (浦江惠云讲寺) to the Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery – Manila Branch for a meaningful cultural and Buddhist exchange.

Pujiang Huiyun Temple follows the principle of “教观双美、解行并重”—emphasizing both Buddhist study and practice. The temple advocates integrating the right understanding and views of the Dharma into daily life, with particular importance placed on discipline, practical cultivation, and the unity of understanding and practice.

Venerable Master Yueqing carries the lineage of the 40th generation of the Nanshan Vinaya School (南山律宗) and the 47th generation of the Tiantai School (天台宗). He graduated from the Tiantai Mountain Buddhist College, completing both the undergraduate and research programs, with a specialization in Tiantai Buddhist teachings and Tiantai meditation practices.

He currently serves as:

Abbot of Pujiang Huiyun Temple (浦江惠云讲寺)
Lecturer at Cixi Wulei Temple (慈溪五磊讲寺)
Lecturer at Lu’an Huadian Temple (六安华殿讲寺)
Lecturer at Pujiang Lingshan Buddhist Studies Society (浦江灵山学社)
Lecturer of the Tiantai Teaching and Practice Class at Ningbo Guanzong Temple Hongfa Academy (宁波观宗讲寺弘法学社教观班)

In recent years, Venerable Master Yueqing has been invited to give Dharma lectures at various temples and Buddhist centers, including Cixi Shiqiu Jingyuan, Ningbo Siming Yanqing Lecture Hall, and Yongjia Wanshou Zen Temple. His teachings cover topics such as Tiantai Buddhist philosophy and practice, the Five Precepts, and the Medicine Buddha Sutra, contributing to the continued propagation of Tiantai teachings and Tiantai meditation practice.

In recognition of his dedication to Buddhist education and Dharma propagation, Venerable Master Yueqing was honored with the title of 2023 Zhejiang Province Religious Community Gold Medal Lecturer.

We are grateful for this meaningful visit and the opportunity to share in a spirit of Dharma friendship, cultural exchange, wisdom, and learning. May this connection continue to flourish and inspire greater understanding and compassion. 🙏✨

Philippine Cultural College Visits Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery – Manila Branch

We were delighted to welcome Philippine Cultural College to the Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery – Manila Branch for a meaningful cultural and educational visit.

As part of the “60th Anniversary of Fo Guang Shan and the 100th Birth Anniversary of Venerable Master Hsing Yun” commemorative exhibition, the students explored the special exhibition, gaining insights into the history of Fo Guang Shan, the life and teachings of Venerable Master Hsing Yun, and the spirit of Humanistic Buddhism through art, culture, and historical displays.
