Here's a glimpse on what transpired last February 17-22 at the San Sebastian College Recoletos Manila Seminar Room and Little Theater. This was brought to you by the SSC-R Manila Center for Culture and the Arts in collaboration with the Sebastinian Arts Society.
The Natke-Natken Art Exhibition was created in view of the celebration of the National Arts Month this February 2017.
Natke-natken means "different" in Kankanaey; a language from one of the ethnolinguistic groups in the Cordillera thus the exhibit revolves around the celebration of uniqueness and diversity. For this particular exhibit, we have curated a distinct set of artworks from various artists inside and outside the institution. Each piece is a discovery, a chapter to a story.
We take this opportunity to thank the contributing artists, Andrei Inso, Dennis V. Gutierrez, William Matawaran, Shalom Immanuel Vega, Renz Tolibas Adonis, Regina Louise Maglaya, Vince Benzon-Barrientos, Fatima Villarosa, Sam Magpantay, Lyka Lacuna, the students of Ms. Aisa Arlos, and Jonalane Solar.
Thank you UNION (Carl John P. Aquino), for adding spice to our exhibit through your dances.
We also thank all those who worked behind the success of the exhibit, members of the Sebastinian Arts Society, and the San Sebastian Recollect Dance Troupe.
To those who took their time to visit and support the exhibit, and to those who are with us in spirit, Agyaman kami.
