To our dearest conductor, James Dimarucut, we wish you a Happy Birthday! 🎉

We are so grateful for the passion and dedication you bring as our conductor. You don’t just lead us in music—you inspire us to give our best and to sing with heart.

Wishing you a day filled with joy, appreciation, and all the happiness you bring to others. May the year ahead be full of beautiful moments, good health, and continued inspiration.

3 Years of Harmony, Faith, and Dedication

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of our Choir Ministry!

Three years ago, we began with hearts full of hope and voices eager to serve. Since then, God has blessed us with countless opportunities to grow—not only in music but also in fellowship, discipline, and faith.

We honor the commitment and dedication of every member who has given their time, energy, and talent. Behind every song is a story of sacrifice— sunday practice, balancing responsibilities, and persevering through challenges. Each effort reflects a love for the ministry and a desire to glorify God through music.

Above all, we lift our deepest thanksgiving to Almighty God, who has been our strength and guide. Truly, He is the source of every note we sing and the reason we continue to grow in unity and excellence.

As we reflect on our journey, we are reminded of the song “My Life in You” by Ryan Cayabyab. Its lyrics mirror our ministry’s heart:

“God, I know that You are there… Take my hand, I trust in You, I put my life in You.”

This song reminds us that our lives, our voices, and our service find meaning only in Him. Just as the lyrics declare surrender and devotion, we too offer our music as a living prayer—an expression of faith, gratitude, and love.

Moving forward, may we continue to:
• Grow in unity and excellence
• Inspire hearts through our songs
• Serve faithfully with humility and joy
• Glorify God in every note, every harmony, and every step of our journey

To our members, leaders, and supporters—thank you for walking with us. This anniversary is not just a milestone; it is a testimony that our life, our music, and our ministry belong to Him. Here’s to more years of harmony, fellowship, and unwavering faith! 💖

Singing the Song — But Missing the Message?

Bible Text:

"I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also."
— 1 Corinthians 14:15

We know the words to "Amazing Grace" so well that we can sing all four stanzas without thinking about a single line. We stand up when the chorister tells us to, we open the hymnal to the right page, and we let our voices join the harmony. But often, our hearts are on "auto-pilot."
We sing "All to Jesus I surrender," while we are secretly planning our next big purchase. We sing "O Day of Rest and Gladness," while we are mentally calculating how many hours are left until the Sabbath is over so we can get back to work.
When we sing without understanding, we aren't praising God; we are just making rhythmic noise. We become like a radio that is turned on but has no one listening. God doesn't want the "performance" of your voice; He wants the "attention" of your soul. If the lyrics don't move your heart to change, they are just empty vibrations in the air. Next time you sing, stop and ask: Do I actually mean what I just said?
The Reflection
• The "Lyrics Test": Pick one line from the closing hymn today. Ask yourself: "If I acted as if this line were 100% true this week, what would I have to change?"
• The Auto-Pilot Check: Did you sing today because the person next to you was singing, or because you actually had something to say to God?
• The Silence: If you had to say the lyrics as a prayer instead of singing them as a song, would you still feel comfortable saying them to God?

Heartfelt thanks to Sir Cyril Punay and the Sola Gratia Chorale for generously taking the time to guide us in discovering where and how we can grow in our singing journey. Your patience, wisdom, and honest feedback have been invaluable to us. It is truly such a blessing to learn from people who not only love music, but also serve the Lord wholeheartedly through their gifts.

We sincerely receive every piece of guidance with gratitude and are committed to applying it—refining our technique, being more intentional with our delivery, and striving to sing not only with greater skill, but with deeper purpose. We recognize that growth is a continuous process, and we look forward to continually growing and improving through dedication, humility, and consistent practice.

We’re also incredibly blessed and grateful to hear such beautiful renditions of the songs —each note offered with excellence, harmony, and a heart for worship. It was more than just music; it was a reminder that every gift, when surrendered to God, becomes a powerful instrument for His glory.

“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.” — Psalm 96:1

Thank you for faithfully using your talents in service to God. May the Lord continue to bless and sustain you as you inspire others and lift His name higher. 🎶🙏✨

"Fear and worry often creep into our hearts when faced with the unknown or challenging circumstances. But God speaks directly to those fears with His comforting words: "I am with you." He assures us that we do not need to fear because He is our strength and our helper. No matter what you face today, remember that God is holding you firmly with His righteous right hand, and offering support and courage... With God on your side, you can stand strong, knowing that His presence is more than enough to help you overcome any obstacle."
(D. Panganiban, 2025, p. 7)

🎹✨ A New Blessing Has Arrived! ✨🎹

We are overjoyed to share that our church has been blessed with a brand new baby grand piano! Truly, we thank God for His abundant grace and provision.

This gift would not have been possible without the love and support of our church members, brethren, and generous sponsors who stood with us during last year’s concert. Your prayers, encouragement, and contributions have borne fruit, and today we celebrate this milestone together.

May this piano be used to glorify the Lord, inspire worship, and bring joy to every heart that hears its sound. 🎶💖

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you, and to God be all the glory! 🙏🏻✨
