The University of Santo Tomas Singers is honored as a recipient of the 18th Ani ng Dangal Award for music, conferred by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) on February 27, 2026, at the historic Metropolitan Theater.
The UST Singers is one of 33 distinguished Filipino artists recognized for outstanding international achievements, marking the fifth time the group has received this prestigious award.
The ceremony was led by First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, NCCA Chair and Executive Director Eric B. Zerrudo, PhD, and Commissioner for the Arts Lordinio Vergara, DPd, underscoring the State’s steadfast commitment to recognizing Filipino artists who bring distinction to the nation.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the National Commission for Culture and the Arts for recognizing Filipino artistry and excellence. We are deeply thankful to our host families around the world for their generosity and support, and to our UST Singers alumni for their continued love and encouragement. Above all, we dedicate this award to our beloved University of Santo Tomas, whose unwavering support has made this achievement possible.
