🎼The (DMO) is managed and led by Leonardo 'Ding' Malazo. Maestro Ding graduated from the UP College of Music and joined the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra as a cellist. He retired as the assistant principal of the PPO cello section in 2017.

In 1988, DMO performed in fiestas and other functions in Pangasinan and nearby places. The orchestra moved to Manila three years later and had regular stints at Bayside Club and Restaurant in Pasay City, then at Bodega City in Quezon City. The Ding Malazo Orchestra was the house band of Bodega City from 1991 to 2004. Within that span of years, the orchestra performed intermittently abroad in Kuala Lumpur for three successful contracts and once in Singapore at Upper Club.

The orchestra's repertoire encompasses almost all dance styles such as foxtrot, boogie, waltz, tango, pasodoble, chacha, salsa, rumba, etc. All the pieces are well chosen and beautifully orchestrated to be not only danceable but also worth listening to. Aside from enjoying the dance pieces, the audience may listen to a tasteful rendition of songs and solo features by the orchestra's talented singers and instrumentalists.

Since its inception, the DMO has kept its standards high, continued updating its repertoire, and is always striving for excellence in stage performance.💃🏻🎤🎺🥁
