I had a chance to talk with a female artist recently. Actually, we're not that close, but I once ordered something from her. She told me she couldn’t come to this important meeting. She just wasn’t in the right condition to create again.
I felt the heaviness in her words… and I understood. because I’ve been there too.
To her and to everyone who might be feeling the same way right now, I hope you’ll be okay soon.

Hindi mo kailangang pilitin. Pahinga muna kung kailangan. Your art, your passion, your spark… it will all come back when your heart is ready.
When the weight in your chest feels too much to paint through, pause. Art will still be here when you’re ready to breathe again.
