2015, the year I did the very first "Czarinelas Project" with the help of my kumare, MVal Neon Igharas .
Life happened 9 years ago, after the very first "Czarinelas Project" and I was not able to do this yearly as originally planned..
This year, I have been very blessed. Let's do this again!
I have started the Czarinelas Project in October 2015.
Czarina+chinelas(my usual subjects) = Czarinelas.
This was for each time my artworks got sold, 10 flipflops were donated to the 1st graders of the Madalag Elementary School where my good friend MVal is teaching. (Special thanks to Val for helping me make it possible while I was somewhere across the globe).
What could be a better timing than this month, the Christmas Season!🎄🎅🎁
But instead of chinelas, let's change it up this year..
For each large size artwork sold at my Solo Art Exhibit, "Shades of Resilience"at the Station X in Boracay, Christmas goodie bags will be shared with 10 families from the Ati Community in Boracay.
There are 55 families living in the Ati community on Boracay as of April 2024.
