𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐰 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. 🎬

Last May 2, 2026—Tanghalang Tanglaw officially awarded the winners of the Tanghalang Tanglaw Film Festival 2026. Showcasing their passion for film with the theme 𝙎𝙖𝙠𝙨𝙞 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙩: 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙧. We want to thank the producers who gave their all to shed light on the backbone of our country, and of course, the judges who made thoughtful decisions. Once again, here are the official winners of the Tanghalang Tanglaw Film Festival 2026.

With that, the final performance comes to an end of Tanghalang Tanglaw's "𝙆𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣: 𝙎𝙖 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙡𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜." We want to thank each and everyone who came and supported us especially the families who went out of their way and supported their children performing on stage.

We want to also thank the support of Himig Tanglaw and Likhaan Club for their unwavering support to our organization and aid in time of need. Once again, with the curtain closing—Tanghalang Tanglaw thanks each and everyone who shined on stage, off stage, and those who makes the performers keep shining. Hanggang sa muli entablado!

Dahil sa matinding kahirapan sa probinsya, nagpasya si Joselito na makipagsapalaran sa Maynila upang maghanap ng mas magandang kinabukasan. Bitbit ang pag-asa na makaahon sa buhay at matagpuan ang inang matagal nang nawalay sa kanya, buong tapang niyang hinarap ang magulong siyudad. Ngunit sa halip na oportunidad, sinalubong siya ng mapait na realidad ng lungsod, hirap sa paghahanap ng trabaho, diskriminasyon laban sa mga probinsyano, mababang sahod, at pang-aabusong ginagawa ng mga may kapangyarihan sa mga walang laban.

Sa kabila ng lahat ng pagdurusa, hindi nawalan ng pag-asa si
Joselito. Patuloy siyang nagsumikap at lumaban para sa kanyang
pangarap. Hanggang sa isang araw, sa gitna ng masisikip at madidilim na eskinita ng Maynila, bigla niyang nakita ang kanyang ate, isang pagkikitang maaaring magbukas ng bagong yugto sa kanyang buhay at maglapit sa katotohanang matagal na niyang hinahanap.

📌𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙥𝙨𝙞𝙨:

At a university filled with diverse, artistic students, transfer student Clark Jace Vicente arrives bitter and withdrawn after learning his previous major subjects will not be credited, forcing him to start again as a first-year. As he navigates enrollment and harsh school bureaucracy, he encounters schoolmates from both college and senior high whose personal battles slowly mirror his own—overachiever Elowisse crushed by parental pressure, outspoken Adrielle and her loyal friends, and charismatic student leaders juggling expectations and image.

Their stories intersect through classroom projects, campus hallways, and an emerging performing-arts environment where writing, music, and theatre become the outlet for their frustrations and dreams. Behind their confident facades, each character wrestles with questions of worth, ambition, and belonging, asking whether achievements, rankings, or reputation truly define them.
