GUIDE TO USING SCENTED SOY WAX PEONY FLOWER CANDLES
1. LIGHTING & BURNING THE PEONY CANDLE
* Trim the Wick: Trim the central wick to 1/4" (6mm) above the flower petals before lighting.
* Prepare the Surface: Place your shaped peony candle on a heat-resistant tray, dish, or candle plate to catch any wax run-off as the detailed petals melt.
* Light & Burn Safely: Light the wick with a match or lighter. Allow the flame to burn evenly for 2–4 hours to establish a proper melt pool across the flower design.
* Tips: Keep away from drafts, flammable materials, and dried floral arrangements. Keep wick centered.
2. MELTING IN A CANDLE WAX MELTER (HOT PLATE / WAX WARMER)
* Place on Melter: Set your peony candle (or broken petal segments) directly inside a wax warmer dish or onto an electric candle warmer base.
* Turn On Warmer: Switch on your electric wax melter to heat the base plate.
* Enjoy Flame-Free Fragrance: The heat gently dissolves the detailed soy wax petals, releasing a rich aroma without any open flame or smoke.
* Tips: A flame-free, safer option that extends the life of your botanical wax piece and lets you melt down the remaining wax fully.
3. USING UNDER A CANDLE WARMER LAMP
* Prep Under Lamp: Position the unlit peony candle (placed securely on a small decorative tray or holder) directly underneath the candle warmer lamp.
* Turn On Lamp Only: Switch on the warmer lamp so top-down heat shines directly onto the floral wax surface (keep the wick unlit).
* Aroma Release: The top-down bulb heat gradually melts the delicate peony petals from above, safely broadcasting a rich, long-lasting scent throw.
* Tips: Preserves the visual beauty of the flower shape longer while offering a clean, flame-free burn. Store soy candles in a cool, dark place for best results.
