Featured in The Global Filipino Magazine, Filipino visual artist and educator Catherine Paje celebrates two historic milestones of 2026 through art: the 80th Anniversary of Philippine–U.S. Diplomatic Relations and America 250.

Through her exhibitions in San Francisco and Nevada, Paje uses art to honor heritage, celebrate belonging, and build cultural connections between the Philippines and the United States.

A Filipina art teacher led two exhibitions in 2026, first bringing together nine U.S.-based Filipino artists at the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco to mark 80 years of Philippine-American diplomatic relations.

Weeks later, Catherine Paje displayed her high school students' work at West Wendover City Hall for America's 250th anniversary, an exhibition community members called "inspirational."
