The Mangatarem Tourism Office proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of our reigning Mutia ti Mangatarem 2026, Ms. Reera Milo, as she graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pangasinan State University – Bayambang Campus.

Her journey is a testament to hard work, compassion, and unwavering dedication—qualities that have also earned her the Florence Nightingale Leadership Award, the Clinical Compassion in Research Award, Ms. PSU-BC 1st Runner-Up 2025, and Ms. PSU 1st Runner-Up 2025.

The Saritaan Archive Drive in Mangatarem successfully documented and preserved migration stories and treasured family memories, creating a lasting legacy for generations to come.

The Municipal Tourism Office extends its heartfelt appreciation to Pangasinan Polytechnic College (PPC) and the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) for initiating and leading this meaningful cultural project, and for partnering with the Local Government Unit of Mangatarem to bring this community initiative to life.

Through the stories shared and memories preserved, we continue to honor our roots and celebrate the heritage that connects us as a community.

The Saritaan: Archiving Migration Stories from Ilocandia project invites you to share your story through a recorded interview and bring photographs, letters, passports, travel documents, certificates, or other family memorabilia for digitization. All original materials will be returned immediately after scanning.
