Vanguard in Chromatic 🎨
A Women's History Month Art Showcase

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Art Lounge Manila – Podium and Molito Lifestyle Center presents Vanguard in Chromatic, a group exhibition highlighting the powerful voices of women artists across generations.

Through bold textures, vibrant color fields, and striking visual language, the exhibition explores how abstraction and chromatic expression become tools of identity, resilience, and creative assertion.

A true story of verbal abuse...

Most of the words written in the background are actual words/statements experienced by my subject...at the early age of 9 as far as she can recall. Most coming from her parent, others from relatives or strangers.

She wanted to end her story...she tried. She's still fighting her own demons. Those created in her head that sprung from these abuses.

Her letter of hope and love on the white space for her future daughter... should she be brave enough to bring a child into a world that repeatedly torn her down.

*****

Not sure if i'll ever exhibit this piece in public. I know the glaring message it initially gives. BUT if it speaks to anyone out there...to let them know they're not alone and we bring their stories to light...then Im honored to dedicate this piece to them.

If anyone has an idea to use this for fundraising and give the proceed to charity of women or child abuse, feel free to dm me.

Create...Destroyed...Restored but into a new piece

Clip of my work from in collaboration with their guests who actively vandalized the piece, including guest of honor Mayor Joy Belmonte and UPD Dean Dr. Laura David.

Why destroy? the intent is to recreate a sense of discomfort in destroying valuable art. If people can care for man-made art, why not the environment?
