Buddhist monks walking by the Mekong River. Taken with a film SLR camera and processed/printed by Kodak/Fuji in Chiangmai, Thailand. During my time as Fair Trade Country Representative of Oxfam Trading in Thailand.

The print, together with other of my photo collection, was inundated by Ondoy floodwaters in our Marikina home in 2009. This is a digital photo of the salvaged printed version.

I raised my camera.

For a few seconds, four lives moving in opposite directions were about to share the same pathway.

A brief encounter. Both engaged in their own worlds. Not stopping. Moving on.
