Ban violence in games?

Then be consistent.

Ban violence in movies.
Ban violence in TV.
Ban violence in social media.
Ban violence in the news.

I've been playing video games since I was a kid. Nanonood lang ako noon sa tito ko at minsan nakikilaro rin. That's where I fell in love with gaming.

Lumaki akong naglalaro ng games na may barilan, zombies, at kung anu-ano pa. Hindi naman ako naging marahas na tao.

Kaya medyo nahihirapan akong tanggapin na video games agad ang sinisisi sa mga ganitong insidente.

Ang totoo, mas madaling sisihin ang video games kaysa harapin ang mas malalalim na problema na humahantong sa ganitong klaseng trahedya.

Video games don't raise children. Parents do. Communities do. Society does.

Instead of banning games, enforce age restrictions, educate families, and address the real factors that lead people to commit violence. The problem is far more complicated than simply blaming a game.

DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla says "violent" video games should be permanently banned from the country following the fatal shooting incident at a Tacloban City high school.

Hindi ko ine-expect na makaka-5KM agad ako today. 😅
Last time na tumakbo ako ng ganito kalayo, college days pa — mga panahon ng Red Cross Run at Run for Pasig. Ngayon, halos 2 days pa lang akong nagte-training, kaya sobrang gulat ako na natapos ko siya nang mas maayos at mas mabilis kaysa sa inaasahan ko.
Mabagal pa 'yan para sa iba, pero mabilis na 'yan para sa akin. 😂
Mukhang ready na talaga ako para sa June 14! 🏃‍♂️🔥 Pero hindi pa tayo tapos. Goal ko pa rin na maibaba ito sa sub-35. One run at a time. 💪

Day 1: easy run for my 5KM this June 14.
From gaming to chasing kilometers, trying to level up both health and life one step at a time
